A Lesser Power named "Faint Glow" is given to every starting character. It sheds a light with a magnitude of 8 around the player. Simply cast the spell to toggle the light effect and cast it again to toggle it off.

The idea behind this mod was to provide just enough light to see objects immediately in front of the player. I wanted a light mod that didn't overshadow the current light spells nor the vanilla torches in the game. The drop torch mods feel overpowered as it provides far too much light for essentially zero trade off.

I wanted a weak light that is only useful in melee combat or in seeing items directly in front of the player, but I didn't want it to cost magicka or have a duration. Thus, the Lesser Power "Faint Glow" was born.

2. Installing and Requirements
==============================

Copy the esp to your data folder. That's it! The Lesser Power will be added upon starting a new character.

3. Load Order and Compatibility
===============================

This mod can be kept fairly high in load order as long as you don't have any other mods directly changing the Light effect. Even if you're using mods that heavily edit player starting spells, you can always rely on loading this after those mods. However, since it only is adding the spell and not changing how the player spawns, it should still work in most cases.

Using the auto cast hotkey function from the Enhanced Hotkeys mod will allow you to have an easy to use button to turn on and off the glow!
