Yes. It should be deactivated and imported into the bashed patch in Wrye Bash (so that it won't waste an ESP slot).

      cool, thanks for the info!

PS. Hi Dispensation, I have seen you on many mod chats and I'm pretty sure I have a few of your mods. So if you have a minute I'd love to ask you two quick technical questions, why do so many replacers have esp's?

Is it the file invalidation thing and if so, does one need to use skyBSI if one uses wyre bash?

Very late reply, from someone you didn't ask, and you may already know all this, but:

There's two possibilities. Sometimes they're dummy esps like you said.

However in other cases, such as this mod, the esp exists because the item being changed originally used an image file used by at least one other item, or possibly multiple common items. For example, like how the Hands of the Atronach gauntlets use the same mesh and inventory icon as regular Ebony gauntlets. The esp is needed to tell the game to use a new, unique image for the item being changed. You could just replace the image file with a new one but that would change every item that used it. So, for example, if you wanted to replace the Hands of the Atronach model you could just replace the default Ebony gauntlet model. But then that would of course change every regular Ebony gauntlet too. It would be better to just add a brand new model and tell the game to point to it with a plugin file.

Usually esp's that just make minor changes to existing records like this are mergeable into a bashed patch.

always found it strange that Mankar Camoran and the Arch-Mage shared the same robes
The only reason I could see Camoran wearing that robe was because he was an Arch-Mage at some point

    anyway great job

His default robes are almost too iconic for me to use but the red suits him much better. Good job.

Look brilliant. Pretty much a bug fix in a way too, because Mankar wearing Traven's spare pair of robes was always just bizarre lol

Boy oh boy. Finally a robe mod for Mankar Camoran. One of the first thing i wondered when i first played Oblivion back in the days was why Mankar's robe is colored different than all of his followers. I say this mod adds a little immersion to Mankar Camoran's choice of robe.

Never understood why Cameron wore a different coloured robe to the typical Mythic Dawn colours. This makes sense. Thank you for doing the job, I'll be using this in my next oblivion playthrough ;)

Nice, I like this. I prefer the more vanilla style replacers and I also don't like how the original robes were just Archmage robes so this is really good.

I really like this mod, simple but effective. The new robes look great in my trophy display!

can i request this over the standard mythic dawn robes? or at least instructions on how to do it change it to be over them myself?
they look cool, but i kind of want that one archmage replacer with the pauldrons as what mankar wears.
