    the necromancer spells work but for some reason trying to turn into a lich crashes
    i bind my soul, drink the elixer and the quest journal comes up saying ive acheived lichdom but after a few seconds ijust get a crash

    any idea of what sort of mods would conflict?

    "Target cannot be animated" is the message I get while trying to animate Hulking Zombies, but instead they are only reanimated temporarily and then they fall dead to the ground after like 50 seconds or so... Not sure if a bug or if I'm missing something...

    I used the "Greater Animate" spell, not the Lesser one. Do I need to give them hearts and other body parts besides a weapon? And why does it have a reanimation effect? I'm pretty sure it is the reanimation effect's fault, because I just tested animating a skeleton and a normal zombie and they work fine, but creating a shambles did the same thing as with the hulking zombies, they die after around 40-60 seconds.

    I use Supreme Magicka and other mods, not sure if it conflicts with this one.

      Btw, I tested again, loading the .esp plugin lower than the Supreme Magicka .esp and rebuilding my Bashed Patch. The reanimation effect was shorter, and when I casted the Greater Animate spell on a hulking zombie, a shambles, and a flesh atronach, in all 3 attempts, the game crashes after around 30 seconds, just when I believe the reanimation effect of the spell ends.

      The only way for me to make this work is by using the resurrect console command on them, totally not the way it was intended...

      After testing on a new game save with only the two mods on, it is definitely Supreme Magicka's fault because of the reanimation effect working now on creatures and undead as well.
      the Greater Animate and Ultimate Animation spells from Necromancy and Lichdom have the secondary effect of Reanimate, which in vanilla only work on dead NPCs, but Supreme Magicka modifies the effect to also work on creatures and etc.
      the only solution I see is to either don't use SM or modify the Necromancy and Lichdom's spells on Construction Set to get rid of the reanimation effect...

    Mod works fine, but I'm getting a CTD when I kill my skeleton thralls. I do have supreme magicka installed, which some other commenters have mentioned could cause issues, but it has not caused any problems so far. The entire necromancy system works flawlessly except for this part.

    Will try installed a logger mod to figure out what's actually happening.

      Haven't installed the logger, but the crash only happens when they're killed using a turn undead spell (these do damage to undead when you have supreme magicka installed). So I guess this is a Supreme Magicka conflict after all. Not a huge problem.

      When killed normally they die as expected without crashing the game. Unfortunately they can't be raised again, nor do they drop bones. This is more of a missing feature than a bug, and I don't expect the author to come back after 3 years to fix a minor inconvenience like this.

      Cool mod. No other issues so far. Complaints about overpoweredness are somewhat valid but that's the entire point, isn't it? Raising an army of undead shouldn't be balanced. Besides, the spells are only accessible at high levels. Work with your own internal balance.

    A note to anyone else using this mod. I had an issue where animating a Shambles caused my game to crash, I've got message logger installed and it said "AnimGroup unable to find sequence 'EMPTY' in model 'Meshes\Creatures\Shambles\IdleAnims\GetUpFaceDown.kf'." which was acutally helpful surprisingly, most loggers aren't.

    Anyway I filddled around a bit trying to figure out how to fix it, which I didn't but I did find a work around.

    Flip the shambles onto it's back before you animate it.

    The issue was afterall "GetUpFaceDown.kf" not "GetUpFaceUp.kf". The fact that this works amuses me greatly, thankfully Shambles corpses are easy to drag around so it's a simple matter to move it into the right position. Note that only the torso matter for this, you can leave the skull and other bits wherever.

      I have the same issue, gonna disable Av Latta Magicka and try without that mod affecting scripted spells.

      EDIT: Was missing the Phylactery, I am an egit.

    I may have been creating too many zombie followers until the game told me that I have "too many followers" After half of them died and the other half kinda being lost somewhere around the Cyrodiil region, they don't appear anymore, even if I use the spell "Mass Follow" and fast travel anywhere.... Usually they would appear when you fast travel but now not a single undead follower appears. Now if I keep making new undead followers the game tells me that I have too many followers all the time, even if just one undead follows me! What do I do about that? Does anybody have any suggestions?

    oblivion launcher says NecroLich.esp is an invalid file?
