# Channeling Staffs
Channeling Staffs is a quite simple mod that adds four alternated(scripted) staffs to Rindir's Staffs shop in the Imperial City Market district. This staffs are intended to be used by a mage player as a primary weapon; they work in a sort of "Harry Potter"-ish way, casting any currently selected spell (while boosting it via spell efficiency stat).
The staffs are tiered and each tier requires certain value of a PC's intelligence + willpower to be operated; like if you have it 40 = 20 + 20 for example, you'll be only able to use apprentice's staff etc
This staffs are only efficient with a player character and aren't intended to be used by NPC. I made this entire mod just today, so I haven't even tested giving it to some NPC, though I suppose it'll probably cause some strange game behaviour :)

## Requirements
OBSE

## Installation
Manual installation: Copy the contents of "Data" folder into the same "Data" folder in your TES4 installation location, then activate the plugin file (Channeling Staffs.esp). Load order shouldn't be important.

## Usage
Buy a staff from Rindir and enjoy the power :)
They're quite expensive however. So check twice before purchasing one whether you can actually use it:
- 40 (intelligence + willpower) for Apprentice's staff
- 80 (intelligence + willpower) for Journeyman's staff
- 130 (intelligence + willpower) for Expert's staff
- 180 (intelligence + willpower) for Master's staff

## Un-Installation
Manually remove the mod-related files from your TES4 installation folder

## Known issues
There is also a little casting animation replacement (dynamically applied only when PC wields any of this mod staffs) included but it functions oddly, firing in ~50% case. The problem is somewhere in the engine internals and\or issues with "ToggleSpecialAnim" OBSE function. Maybe I'll remove it completely later - or find a way to force the custom anim to work as it should.

## Credits
- I was too lazy for modeling + texturing the staff meshes, so I've just picked some from Gem Staffs mod :)
