The creative and talented author FLY/Yuravica created several weapons and the weapons stats follow the style of vanilla Oblivion.

Consequently, MOBS users will find the new weapons behave strangely. Thankfully Yuravica allows to use the results of his work easily and so in this mod, the weapons has been re-balanced following the MOBS ideas.

Since the weapons are quite different from the vanilla ones I had to guess, my approach has been:
- play a bit with the original weapon
- decide from the weapon aspect what category (Iron, Elven, ...) would fit
- check its size compared to Short Sword, Long Swords, or Claymores
- from the MOBS stats make reasonable stats (weight, value, attack-values, ...) to make the new weapon usable and interesting.


THIS MOD DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ASSETS, DOWNLOAD FROM THEM FROM THE YURAVICA'S PAGE. The two esp files do not conflict, but if you keep both you will have both kind of weapons: MOBS-inspired ones and the originals from Yuravica. So I suggest to keep one.



Currently there are the following weapons. Note that the "category" is the Damage Per Second (Speed times Damage, that's it), but the Speed and Reach are based on intuition and what felt right. All weapons in the Silver or Daedric category ignore Normal Weapon Residency as usual. To spice it up I set up other weapons to do the same.

- Hard Wood (~Steel, but little life)
- Ice Pick (~Iron)
- Keris (~Steel)
- Kukri (~Elven)
- Matchet (~Steel)
- Mjolnir, originally Hammer 3, (~Daedric)
- Nodachi (~Daedric)
- Nrman Sword (~Elven)
- Plate Blade (~Silver)
- Raw Malachite Nodachi (~Glass)
- Shotel (~Dwemer)
- Shovel (~Iron)


Since this list adds basically Glass, Ebony and Daedric Katanas I also added the one and two-handed katanas to the leveled lists using the normal Oblivion graphics.

Most of the weapons also have an enchanted version.



All those weapons have been added to the Leveled Lists, so probably you need Wrye Bash to merge. Put the .esp quite high in the loading order, for example just after the Oblivion Unofficial Patches. So that mods that change the vanilla weapon can work properly.


If you want to see all weapons without waiting the random number generator and the proper level just type in the console (after you saved):

startQuest flyAddItems

Most probably you'll be encumbered, start the quest nearby a container.


What about all the missing weapons? At the moment I did this ones because I felt that are the one that add to Oblivion the most. They do not look outworldly magical and they do not feel strange on the hands of the enemies.

I may decide to do the remaining ones as magical weapons; yet weapons like the Deathblow cannot be easily put in the normal loot lists. They would clash with the rest of the game and I see some as kinda oversized. Feedback is extremely useful, leave a message.
