Hello, and welcome to this mod.
I like the Demoness race, but found it had a couple of issues. Firstly, the statistics were rather homogenous and there were no special abilities to further vary the three subtypes. Secondly, despite there being tail mesh and texture files, and the race statistics pointing to the correct filepaths, no tail was visible on the characters. I surmise this is because of how the Demontail nif is set up. Thirdly, the race ids were NordCopyxxx, and one of these interfered with another race I like to play (sundemon). Fourthly, a lot of custom races lack the starting spells of standard races. Lastly I found the races a bit too tall for my tastes.
So I made a few modifications, including the addition of the Spike's DemonTail resource. For personal role-playing purposes, I am assuming a wave of cosmic energy lashed out from the eternal storm and altered the reality of Nirn. You are welcome to justify the changes to the Demoness races however you like in your own gaming.
