No. Prices are set on each item in the Construction Set or xEdit. Then they can also be changed in game by script commands (console or mod scripts). I also want it to work with Colorful Clothing, but I have to get around to opening xEdit to edit all the new clothing items. An alternative is to use the Enhanced Economy mod and add all the items you want to change prices on to the price lists that mod has. Even more work tho. A beer in the game costs 12 septims, the same as an upper class shirt
It's a shame this wonderful mod is incompatible with Enhanced Economy. Thank you very much for your mod, anyway: this was what I was thinking, back when I played Oblivion for the first time in the Xbox 360 (why the crap all of these jewels are so cheap?!)!
Strange. The only think I can think of is to make sure OBSE is running. To do this, go to savegame folder, and see if there are files with .obse extension (co-saves that OBSE does).
A good mod indeed, much appreciated. I used a bit similar mod in the past, but it repriced only gems. They were worth between 50 and 500 in that mod I belive.
I would suggest a little more money for sapphires, diamonds and the like though. 75 for a sapphire is still a bit cheap, but maybe it's just me.
I can see why you think I made the gemstones too cheap. That is an admittedly arbitrary balancing decision for the price of the loose stones against the price of jewelry (which I used as a reference point). It doesn't make much sense for the jewelry (with the added costs of the metal and craftsmanship) to be less expensive than the stones they were set with.
I overheard a conversation in Cheydinhal about the corrupt guard fines, and some guy claimed he made 3 septims a year, so with that in mind 75 is a fortune lol.
I disagree. If you compare the size of the gems in the rings to the gems themselves, you will see the the latter are much bigger. Hence the prices for the gems should be much higher.
it makes me happy to see that the modding community for these old games are still alive, i remember a mod similar to this that repriced all the misc clutter but i couldn't get it to work in my game but that was years ago
People should rethink if they really want to use mods like this. Making much money was already a walk in the park before in this game and this mod makes it even easier. The whole probable reason why silver and gold is so idiotically cheap is balancing, like a golden urn is not even worth half of the amount of gold that's used to melt gold coins/Septims by the game's logic. On the other hand, the player has no restrictions to his movement and "life", so he can chain-loot lots of dungeons and make enough money even from poor loot.
There are mods that help with this problem though. Some just introduce money-sinks, like houses are worth 3 times more. I belive there were some mods that reprice loot too, but I don't remember now.

I've benn using it, but there is no difference, so I had to change the prices through Enhanced Economy myself.
Could use a {{BASH:Stats}} tag in the description.
