Description

Rebalances the prices of higher end clutter and items

Details
=====

This mod was born of my frustration with the difficulties of thieving... I mean looting... I mean making money as an adventurer when so much supposedly precious and expensive goods don't actually sell for much of anything. The clothes that the count wears? Worth maybe 10 gold total. The silver dishware on a nobleman's table? Another five gold. That makes absolutely no sense. So, this mod rebalances the prices of gems, pelts, jewellery, and middle to upperclass clothing and dishware.

Here's a breakdown of the prices:

- Upperclass clothing: 25-120 gold
- Middleclass clothing: 10-45 gold
- Upperclass dishware: 5-45 gold
- Middleclass dishware: 3-15 gold
- Rings: 20-200 gold
- Amulets: 30-200 gold
- Pelts: 20-50 gold
- Gems/Nuggets: 20-160 gold
- Miscellany (whole cloth, scales, weights, hourglasses, crystal balls): 5-25 gold

Books have not been repriced to minimize compatibility issues and because price scaling for valuable and rare works already scale tolerably well with the rest of the mod. Pricing for enchanted items is already super-expensive, so that was also unchanged. Last, lower class clutter has not been repriced to reduce compatibility issues. Also, while it would make more sense to reprice them, they still would not useful to the player as loot, so repricing them in pointless.

V1.1 makes a few changes. First, this version by request slightly raises the prices of all the emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and diamonds. Second, it adds 15 new gemstones into the leveled lists:

- agate, amethyst, aquamarine, cinnabar, citrine, fire opal, garnet, hematite, jade, jasper, lapis lazuli, peridot, rose quartz, sunstone, and turquoise

All of the other prices from the original version are left unchanged to keep the price-scaling intact. Last, while I decided that now was as good of a time as any to use these gem assets, I declined to add any more types of loot to prevent adding more compatibility issues than necessary.

Requirements
==========

Oblivion Version 1.2.0416

Installation Instructions
==================

Copy contents into your Oblivion data folder

Uninstallation Instructions

Optional Files
===========

By request, an optional version of v1.1 is available for compatibility with Redressing Cyrodiil. This version removes the price changes for vanilla clothing to ensure the two mods can play nicely together.

Incompatibility
===========

Will not be compatible with other mods that alter the prices of things like clothing, gems, jewelry, and dishware. This includes mods like Oblivion Better Prices, Priced Clutter, More Valuable Gem Prices, etc.

Change Log
=========

V1.1:
- slightly increased prices on diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires
- added 15 new gems and incorporated them into the gem leveled lists

V1.0:
- initial release

Known Issues
==========

For V1.1, I recycled menu icons quite a bit to keep a sense of visual consistency, so expect to see some repeating menu icons.
