I love this mod but is there any way to lower the trees into the ground a bit? many trees on slopes are sticking out of the ground looking goofy

I will look into fixing this when I get back to modding.

How well do you think this would blend with "Enhanced Vegetation"

I imagine it would work as follows:
My mod alters the models directly.
Enhanced Vegetation tells the game to alter the size through an .esp file.
So, my mod would increase the size, let's say by 150%. Then Enhanced vegetation would take the 150% model and increase it that model by it's own chosen percentage.

This isn't working. Everything else I install works except this. Bummer. What could be the problem? I use the unofficial Oblivion patch.

So there's no mention of this but this mod also makes the shrubs huge in-game,
like blocking the view of doors and pathways in the imperial city.

So if you see this as a problem since the shrubs can block a lot of one view,
    simply before installing
    1. Extract the file to the desktop or wherever
    2. Open up the "trees" folder and highlight all files that begin with shrub and Delete
    3. then Re-Zip the whole file and back into Wrye Bash
    No more giant shrubs.

You can also do this directly in Wrye Bash by extracting to project and than deleting the scrubs.
Anyways, I will add to the description that it also increases the size of scrubs, thanks.
Edit: actually it was mention in the very first line "This mod doubles the size of various SpeedTree models" Scrubs are SpeedTree files too, anyways, I edited the mod page details to make it clear to everybody.

This mod is almost perfect, it enhances the game fantastically. Only real problem is distant trees still look undersized vanilla, and it's looks bad when they suddenly get huge when you get nearer to them.

Doesn't bother me anymore. Pros outweigh cons. This game looks so much freaking better with this mod, it's excellent. Combined with Lush and Gaudy, Cyrodiil ENB and Let there be Flowers,  it really beautifies the dull teletubby landscape. Strange that there aren't more tree enlarging mods like this.

The large trees don't look out of place, they actually look more natural and wild than the vanilla versions, making the fantasy realm far more captivating. 10/10 mod, finally, Cyrodiil has actual forests.

Glad to see you're enjoying the mod, thanks for sharing your pictures,
I have somewhat of an idea on how to fix the distand trees not matching the new tree sizes, but I havn't gotten around to really looking into it, other interests are currently occupying my time.
Edit: You could also use OR to make the grass bigger which you might like.

Those screenshots look so nice. What mods do you use other than LG?

Followed Bevilex's modlist, so: Far Cry Expanded Grass, also Oblivion Reloaded 6.5 (so pre-shadows). Simple ENB (IIRC) and more

I'm not sure what part of my installation instructions is unclear, could you specify?

"To install the mod simply drop the files in the 'trees' directory in the oblivion/trees directory."

Looks gorgeus and 150% is perfect! Does this affect SI trees too?

I have no experience in texturing, though there are a few retextures on this site, I suggest you find one you like.

Are there distant billboards that are compatible with the 200% version of this? I tried using it, and mostly enjoyed it, but the distant trees are much smaller and the pop in of the smaller tree being replaced with the much larger one when transitioning cells is really jarring.
