I cannot figure out how to start this quest. I have spoken to the mercenaries and have the quest in my journal but that's as far as I've been able to go. I've spoken to everyone at the university and also checked all the books there to further the quest as the journal says to do. There is an npc standing out front of the university in a dark cloak type armor but when I try to have a conversation with them it says something about "their mouth does not move...no sound..." and I'm not sure if that npc is even relevant to this mod, as I also have other mods. I'm I overlooking something or is the mod just not working right on my pc? Thanks!!
Was unable to complete the quest due to a bug. At the beginning after taking the aylied tablet, Sixscar talks to you and the character just stays stuck there unable to move and nothing else happens.
I grabbed this to try, as I'm always on the lookout for new, interesting quest mods. Barring a minor hiccup or two (which a little nudge to an NPC or a reload easily fixed), I was absolutely enthralled! Honestly, really good work. Also, I love some of these assets.
I wanted to like this, but the "oh no! there are too many- better give up the relic" followed by having to fight them all anyway after their leader escapes confuses and annoys me. There are other issues, but that one is the first and should have been a warning of things to come.
Not sure what my issue is, but after taking the artifact from Sixscar's office Peelum-Ei comes in and makes me give him money. After that nothing happens. Reading, it seems the player is supposed to be knocked out but I've reloaded and reloaded with no change. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix or at least trigger the next part of the quest? This mod has been fantastic btw- one of the best quest mods I've played in ages.
Everything goes pretty smoothly up to the point of being locked up in the basement cell in the Stormhold Blackwood Company Headquarters. Discovered after taking the artifact, and have to move about to be placed in the cell itself. Then waiting a bit for a Npc to approach the cell and the "assassin" discovers the player character and kills them. TGM does not prevent death (Scripted death?) Just curious about how to proceed with the quest if this happens EVERY time. It was surprising at first, and I laughed a little because it was so abrupt and out of no where the player character is assassinated by an invisible force. Is there a fix to this or will I have to use console commands to keep going forward in this quest?
Ok, I figured it out pretty quickly. I have Maskars Oblivion overhaul, which places "boss" level characters in certain cells that are considered to be the "end" of a dungeon. There was a "boss" enemy in the basement which was killing or attacking the others initiating a combat sequence and therefore "discovering" the player character. Just went through into the basement using TCL and an invisibility spell (lo-tech lol) and disabled the "boss" level enemy, and the next stage of the quest initialized without a problem.
Started it and the first quest already locks my controls and forces me to give up the tablet without being given any choice. It would take about 20 seconds for my char to actually beat the mercenaries (and I know because I tried).Not really a fan of this kind of writing.

P.S.: I recommend using Oblivion Character Overhaul while playing. (vanilla faces in this mod can be.... frightening lol)
Recently I found your mod and it got me interested. I’ve decided to try it. I finished it completly, but durinh the play I’ve encoutered severel conflicts with other mods. In Trumbe it was in conflict with 3 mods. Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, The Ayleid Steps, Knights of the Nine Revelation or Knights of the Nine Revelation Continued (Unofficial) and lastly i suppose it was Unique Landscapes Compilation.
In this cases i had to use commands to continue.
Wih The Ayleid Steps command disable to close and then enable to open the door, with Knights of the Nine Revelation or Knights of the Nine Revelation Continued Unofficial i had to use the tcl. This mods have random quests even after finishing the main quests line.
