this is my darker distant landscape lod texture modification for my oblivion 2018. i created this mod because i found no fitting distant lod for me. standard generated lod is too shiny and bright for my settings. only lowering the brightness does not give the wanted results so i manipulated the colour curve and reduced saturation.

this is my darker distant landscape lod texture modification for my oblivion 2018. i created this mod because i found no fitting distant lod for me. standard generated lod is too shiny and bright for my settings. only lowering the brightness does not give the wanted results so i manipulated the colour curve where it is important and without lowering the brightness for the snowy parts.
if you already play with a dimmed and more natural green colour setting (not yellow green or bright oversaturated green) these lod textures might be the perfect enhancement for your game.
use of oblivion reloaded mod is recommended!
- 2K/1K main file for mid and high end rigs
- 1K optional file for rusty rigs
in a second step i plan to put my almost fitting landscape textures in a mod package. but i have to check the textures first (copyright and other possible restrictions).
