About this mod

This mod adds in numerous enchanted weapons/armor/scrolls/staffs/jewelry in an attempt to make each dungeon and cave have a chance at better loot. For example, you may enter a cave and find a special and unique war axe that you might actually use yourself (or hang on your mantlepiece) instead of six gold and a mushroom.

What is this mod?

This mod, Untold Relics, adds many different pieces of enchanted weapons/armor/scrolls/staffs/jewelry that can be found throughout the game. I also have went through and buffed up certain NPCs to a higher standard, so they will be a more difficult fight. This addon’s goal is to provide a better experience when waltzing into a random cave or dungeon. You’ll now have a chance to find something truly unique and special instead of just six septims and a mushroom.

What have you added/changed?

Weapons:
The Butcher’s Cleaver - A massive axe in the possession of a Dremora named the Butcher. Watch out, for he still lives and will not hesitate to cut you down!
Edge of Night - A vampiric steel war axe that once belonged to a famous vampire hunter.
Hawkfire - A special elven bow that graces its target with flames. Comes with a single Hawkfire Arrow that’s sure to wreak devastation, just once.
Iron Sparksword - Common in the lands of Vvardenfell, this curious weapon managed to make its way into Cyrodiil. An iron longsword that gives its target a slight jolt.
Monkey’s Shiv - Currently in possession of a sneaky cat named Monkey, this silver dagger leaves its opponents feeling worn out.
Pyromancer - A blazing ebony shortsword with unknown origins.
Rindir’s Special - A staff specialized in charming and commanding whomever one may choose. Men and mer alike will fall to their knees.

Armor:
Ajum-Kajin’s Armor - The Argonian Ajum-Kajin now has buffed Blackwood armor suited for his magical capabilities.
Blackheart’s Armor - Gifted Azani Blackheart with a beefy suit of elven armor to really give him the boss feel.
Farren’s Armor - A long dead elf, Farren was once a master marksman and thief. Now, his mithril armor and hood have been lost.
Monkey’s Armor - Worn by the infamous Khajiit highwayman, Monkey, its wearer may feel a little lighter in their step.
The Pale Helm - An ancient Akaviri helmet lost to the ages, this helmet makes its wearer feel warmer in cold times.

Clothing:
Mankar Camoran’s Robe - Buffed up Camoran’s robes so he really feels like he deserves to be Oblivion’s final boss.
Arch-Mage’s Robe + Hood - Granted the Arch-Mage’s set an actual enchantment, and nothing to scoff at, either.

Scrolls:
Icarian Flight - A curious relic, this trio of scrolls may seem familiar. Perhaps they once belonged to an unlucky Bosmer enchanter?

Jewelry:
Fool’s Amulet - A silver amulet that once belonged to an aspiring enchanter, though, needless to say, he was a fool when he created this amulet.

Where can these be found?

Weapons:
The Butcher’s Cleaver - In the possession of a Dremora named the Butcher, found at the end of the Kvatch Oblivion Gate.
Edge of Night - Can be discovered deep in Bloodcrust Cavern, in a wooden coffin. Beware the vampires!
Hawkfire - Found up high at Dive Rock, along with its single arrow.
Iron Sparksword - Found on the corpse of an unlucky Bosmer, on the pier just outside of the Imperial City Sewer.
Monkey’s Shiv - Currently in possession of a sneaky cat named Monkey, found at the Old Bridge, south of the Imperial City.
Pyromancer - Can be purchased from Fire and Steel in Chorrol for a modest sum.
Rindir’s Special - Can be purchased from Rindir’s Staffs in the Imperial City for a modest sum.

Armor:
Ajum-Kajin’s Armor - Found worn by the Argonian battlemage Ajum-Kajin in Glademist Cave. Part of the Fighter’s Guild questline.
Blackheart’s Armor - Worn by Azani Blackheart at the end of the Atatar dungeon. Part of the Fighter’s Guild questline.
Farren’s Armor - Found scattered throughout Glademist Cave. This one may be a bit of a scavenger hunt.
Monkey’s Armor - Found worn by a Khajiit highwayman at the Old Bridge, just south of the Imperial City.
The Pale Helm - Found beside an ancient Akaviri skeleton in Serpent’s Trail, northeast of Bruma.

Clothing:
Mankar Camoran’s Robe - Found on the person of Mankar Camoran, in his Paradise.
Arch-Mage’s Robe + Hood - Given to the player as a reward for finishing the Mages Guild questline.

Scrolls:
Icarian Flight - Found on the corpse of an unlucky Bosmer, on the pier just outside of the Imperial City Sewer.

Jewelry:
Fool’s Amulet - Found inside Boreal Stone Cave, to the west of Bruma.

What's to come?
- The Oblivion Update:
- More Oblivion Gate bosses with lootable relics
- More/better Oblivion Gate boss chest loot
- A short quest surrounding the shortsword Pyromancer, where you learn about its true origin and how it came into Fire and Steel's stock
- A travelling archaeologist that wanders the entirety of Cyrodiil selling magical relics
- And, as always, more relics

Can I submit my own ideas?
Of course! You can submit your ideas to me through here, Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/id/polarrobotfrog/) or through Discord (polar#4000). Add me on either and submit your ideas! I'd love to read and discuss them!

You can also let me know if anything is non-functional, too powerful, not powerful enough, etc.

Known Bugs:
- I personally have encountered a bug where the Hawkfire bow does not spawn where it supposed to, and instead spawns underneath the rock it sits on, along with its arrow.
- The scrolls of Icarian Flight do not spawn outside the Imperial City Sewers on existing saves. The only workaround right now is to start a new character.
