About this mod

Adds McMuffin's Morrowind Daedric armor to Valkynaz

Permissions and credits
Changelogs
Welcome to the thirty second installment to my Oblivion Immersion Series.  This time around we have Morrowind-esque Valkynaz Armor, which does exactly what the title says.  I liked the look of the armor over the vanilla one but didn't feel like replacing all instances of Daedric armor in game, especially since there's already another mod that does that.  Because nothing says original lore mod like adding a one that is third-in-line.  So instead, this mod adds an extra set called Valkynaz armor, only obtainable by slaying Valkynaz in Oblivion Gates.  No other way to get it.  So happy hunting!  This new armor is "formal dress" as far as dremora are concerned and is slightly more powerful than vanilla Daedric.

This mod comes in two flavors:

-Morrowind-esque Valkynaz Armor
-Morrowind-esque Valkynaz Armor - One Helmet Version

The first adds both helmets from the resource mod.  The second, an optional file, only adds one helmet, to remove the texture glitching issues I was getting with one of the helmets (sadly, I seemed to have lost my screenshot of the effect).  See Known Issues for more.

Requirements
===========

Oblivion Version 1.2.0416

Installation Instructions
==================

Copy contents into your Oblivion data folder.  To install the One Helmet version, let it overwrite the original esp.

Uninstallation Instructions
=====================

Delete the esp and mesh and texture files

Incompatibility
============

Use only one of the esp files in this mod; they are incompatible with each other.  Note that it is required for the main file to be installed for the One Helmet version to work.  This mod should be compatible with the original Daedric Lord Armor by McMuffin.  That said, I can't say that I recommend using them together, since they both are variations on the same thing and running them together would be redundant.   Will not be compatible with Daedric Lord Armor Replacer Version by GunnerforLife or Daedric Lord Armor on NPCs by iceflame542.

This mod has a plethora of patches for my previous mod Daedric Resilience and its update Supernatural Resilience.  Choose the patch according to the versions of each mod that you are using.  Note that the abbreviation system that I use has the first letter for each word, so Daedric Resilience - Morrowind will be DR - M.

Known Issues
===========

The texture on one of the helmets has a tendency to glitch up in game, likely as a result of being subjected to certain lighting effects, such as spells.  If that kind of thing bothers you, then I suggest installing the 1 Helmet version, which only adds the non-glitched helmet.

Troubleshooting
=============

Feel free to come to me with questions or issues and I will help as best as I can.  That said, please bear in mind that I am a novice modder and may not be able to offer much in the way of assistance.
