Oblivion Mod of the Month - December 2017
Video Description:
Today we have our second official episode of the Oblivion Mod of the Month, taking a look at the best mods of December 2017. The idea behind this series is to release a video every month honoring the best mods released in that particular month, as decided by popular vote.
Our mod of the month for December 2017 is Archfiend By DemonLord7654, a massive and epic quest mod that spans very nearly all of Cyrodiil, with numerous new dungeons and locations, new adventures to go on, new companions to fight alongside with, and hours upon hours of content to keep you busy. Archfiend was without question the largest mod to come out for Oblivion in December 2017, and with all the content it has to offer, it's more than worthy of being our Mod of the Month.
Second choice for mod of the month is Retextured Road Signs By MonkeyAngie, a retexture for the city road-signs of Cyrodiil, giving them a nice new detailed appearance, and coming in four different versions, including one with ornamentation, one with glowing effects for easier reading, and plain versions. This retexture vastly improves the roadsigns of Oblivion, and although this is perhaps a smaller mod, it's a nice little graphical upgrade and more than worth checking out.
Finally, our third choice for the mod of the month is Real Homes By Ervvin, and this is really more of a mod package, including 6 new homes added across the landscape of Cyrodiil, but unlike your typical house mod, these are designed to blend in with the vanilla game, and not only that, must be earned, either through completing vanilla quests, or by purchasing them, or by winning through combat, and these homes are balanced perfectly with what you might find in vanilla Oblivion, filling a noticeable gap in the available house mods out there. All of this makes it our third choice for the Mod of the Month.
