Mildly okay mod, though rather simplistic.

not sure why but this mod seems to edit some aspects of cells that are modified in the Unique Landscapes: Cheydinhal Falls mod? if you're seeing missing water/land tears and are using both this mod and UL Cheydinhal Falls, load CF after this mod and the conflicts should resolve.

I'm not sure why anyone would have had DLCBattlehorn beneath UL in the first place. That would definitely be the wrong order. Use BOSS to sort your order. LOOT is usually not correct, particularly with DLCs, and will make a total mess out of your load order.

The texture for the metal is STILL gone. I also have a land tear in the middle of the courtyard. Thought it was a conflict with Oblivion Uncut, but it's still there without that active. So I tried Servant of the Dawn, still there without that active. Though I'll have to test further to confirm this in my game.

Well I fixed the land tear, turned out it was the DLC compatibility patch for Servant of The Dawn. Easily fixed by simply moving it before this. Note: if you do this, you have to remove DLC Battlehorn from the patch as a master with TES4Gecko, which is wicked easy.

What is the name of the texture and it's path? You could see this in NifScope. Perhaps it's there, just in wrong directory?

For those experiencing the purple sword blade when the blacksmith works the piece, try this:

Go into \Data\textures\realswords\nord. Open repairhammer.dds and repairhammer_n.dds in image editor (I use paint.net). Save the image as poignardforge.dds and poignardforge_n.dds respectively

The mod has a .nif reference to poignardforge.dds, but there is no image with that name in the mod, hence, purple looking image

      thanks so much!

edit: oh and just as an aside - i don't think you have to rename the original textures. idk if any other mods use those textures for animations, but just in case they do, i just copied both of those textures into a different folder, renamed the copies, and then pasted the renamed copies back in the data\textures\realswords\nord folder. it worked perfectly!

The blacksmith weapon that he's working on is purple, and the sword and shield's meshes are still out of whack as well. Lord Kain's shield is purple, and the Dragon Sword is just straight up invisible. I have followed the instructions to the T, and have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, playing with old and new save files, and everything else I can think of. The original, vanilla Battlehorn Castle was deleted prior to installation, as well as the UP for it. If anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this issue, I'd appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you.

You're getting all the purple stuff mostly because you deleted the original esp. Taken from the description:

      REQUIRES BATTLEHORN CASTLE DLC.
This mod is not a replacement for, but a modification to it.

Then do explain how this mod is supposed to work, since it overwrites the original esp.

EDIT: The purple sword is due to a nif referencing an image that does not exist (poignardforge.dds for the blacksmith sword). I am going to look at the others, if they are present in my game

Interesting mod, certainly flawed and with some odd choices, but makes it much more homely. I install with Mod Organizer so I don't overwrite my original Battlehorn ESP and deactivate the unofficial patch for Battlehorn and it worked fine even though I had visited before. The East Wing dining hall is a bit bugged - there are flickering floors and the doors can become unactivatable - and I also got the purple sword from the blacksmith. Other than that? Can't say I miss the old hall at all.

You can make .esps depending on other .esps easily with the CS Extender. While this mod was not made that way, I think I've managed to separate the parts that are new or changed in your mod from the vanilla Battlehorn Castle plugin. I've packed it into a new .esp and included all relevant fixes from the UOMP I could identify. It should be better for compatibility too this way.

I can pass the file to you. Would you be interested in distributing such a version, or do you prefer to keep this as a replacement?

Do you think you can upload the separated version that you created? Or at least send it to me privately? I absolutely do not like the idea of this mod being an .esp replacer. Its a weird way to implement an upgrade to the DLC, and it decreases its compatibility immensely.
I'd love to use this mod, but other of the issues from other users that I have been reading about make me weary, and I feel I could more easily fix its issues if it was a separate .esp, and not a replacer.

This has 141 ITMS and 72 UDRs with the newest version of xedits auto clean. Are these intentional?

Yes, I'm replying to year old post.
Are ITMs intentional? Likely not. Should you clean the file? I'd say yes.
Also file being replacer is why folks from comment chain a bit further down have issues with uninstall deleting DLC and castle. No file to use, nothing to load, no castle in game.
