PLEASE HELP, this doesn't work for me, I have all the requirements, started a new game from scratch and the skill simply does not appear, as if there was no mod installed....
I have bit problem with this Mod and that is that in my Minor Skills says: Pickpocket - NOT INITIALIZED. And also, it doesn't show me the number of my skill when I do training. Does anyone have the same problem?
The 'stolen items don't add to encumbrance' perk is not working for me. I have Rebirth+ installed. Could it be a issue with fundament or another mod? Thanks
If you are playing an experience based leveling system like oblivion xp or ultimate leveling, don't use thos mod or edit the ini so you don't get much exp-you can endlessly exp farm sleeping npcs by reverse pickpocketing all your gear onto them then picking it all back. You can have all skills maxed before you even leave the IC.
The Misdirection perk is very underwhelming: I try to steal the weapons off my enemies before engaging them, but they draw new swords out of nowhere anyway.
And half the time, when I try to return the weapon I took from them, the game crashes.
This was the reason I installed the mod in the first place, the reason I fingered every single passer-by I met, snuck behind ever single bandit and conjurer and vampire to empty their pockets before fighting them. What a let-down.
I'm getting a lot of the same stuff as several people did many years ago, about the progress bar being all scrambled and the "NOT INITIALIZED" stuff, but this all seems just cosmetic and in practice it all works well.
Here's a suggestion for the third perk, to replace the weird weightlessness thing: allow you to pickpocket things even while being seen. Gets a bit tricky emptying people's pockets at a dinner party.
Has anyone got a link to Fundament and AddActorValues as the Nexus is no longer listing the mods for me. Did a google search and couldnt find it anywhere other than nexus but the links don't work.
i downgraded to the previous version and now it doesn't crash, but i'm not sure if i'm just not changing the right settings in the ini files or if this version isn't working properly with the pickpocket chance
