alright, i wanna add more stuff in this mod and in particular, wanna add realistic and not overly thick axes, maces and war hammers to this mod, both 1h and 2h. however i dont know how to model and texture stuff so i need your help guys. if you know how to it'd be an AWESOME addition to the mod so feel free to message me so we can discuss this
Great mod! I love the one-handed sword and hammer.
One observation: going by the handle length, it looks like the 'bastard swords' are actually longswords, which were historically meant to be used with two hands. The "arming sword" currently in the mod would be a better example of a real-life "bastard sword," since it has enough spare handle space (counting pommel) to fit one-and-a-half hands, but not enough to fit two, so it's not a "longsword." With arming swords your hand fits snugly between the cross-guard and the pommel, with no wiggle room, unlike currently depicted in the mod.
Another observation: the weight values are way too high. Longswords, the basic two-handed swords of the medieval age, weighed from 2.2 to 3.3 pounds depending on their blades. Arming swords were an average of 2.5lbs. Greatswords in general usually clocked in at 5lbs, with even the biggest, heaviest ones not exceeding 7lbs. Warhammers weighed about 3 to 5 pounds, and that's including their two-handed versions. Their wooden shafts really reduced their weight.
yeah i am aware of all of that, however i didnt do anything bout it cause i dont play oblivion much anymore and idk if oblivion uses lbs or just weight points, so i left it as it is. you can change it in the creation kit ig and change its name and weight values if ya want
Thanks for update 1.1. You write that " - changed the weapon position grip" and I was wondering if this is done by changing the meshes or by changing something in the esp?
Thanks for the reply. I'm merging many armor and weapons mods to save esp space so I just wanted to know if it was enough to just overwrite the meshes and textures from ver 1.1 since I don't mind the stat changes that much.

The greatsword seems to be just right, though.
