Description
------------
This mod realisically lowers the weight of most weapons and armor in the base game and official DLCs. I created this mod because I felt that certain armor and weapon weights were way too overburdening or un-realisic compared to other armor or weapons. One example is the fact that a steel longsword weighed more then a steel mace; I felt that this was not realisic at all... Add the fact that my character could hardly carry anything, and you get this mod. A very simple mod that evolved to be a full re-working of most of the armor and weapon weights in the base game and official DLCs. The mod also lowers the weight of all arrows to 0, because I really liked how arrow weight was later handled in Skyrim. "Arena" and "scripted" equipment have been mainly untouched, meaning I have not changed those item weights; perhaps they will be revisited in future updates, or if I get enough people asking for them to be changed. Also, some equipment has had slight weight gains instead of loss; this is done in order to balance out other equipment weights, and could not be avoided. An example of an item gaining weight instead of losing it is the "Durable" version of most items. All Durable versions have recieved +2 ibs weight increase. More information about Durable items and other equipment Terms/Tags can be found below.

So anyway, to put it simply, this mod aims to lower the weight of most of the different armor and weapons in both the base game and the official DLCs. Only about 20% of the entire game's equipment has been left unchanged. The armor and weapons left unchanged include but are not limited to: Arena, Scripted, and Tester equipment. If you feel that a certain piece of equipment has been left out or needs to be changed further, leave a comment on The Nexus and I'll try to get back to you. Please enjoy.

Disclamer
----------
"All of my mods are extensivly tested to work as intended before being uploaded, and will never make, add, remove, or change any un-documented modifactions to the game. However, I will take no responsibility for any loss of characters, items, or save data that this or any of my other mods might cause; use my mods at your own risk. You may also use this mod in any way that you wish; no need to give credits or anything like that."

Installation
-------------
Simply download the mod manually, extract the mod files to a new folder, and then move the extracted files from the new folder to your Oblivion/Data folder. Then open Oblivion Launcher.exe, click Data Files, find and activate the mod in the list, click ok, exit the Launcher, play the game and enjoy.

"You do not have to sort your load order using a special program, such as LOOT or BOSS for this mod to work, but it is reccomended. I have found that the higher it is on the load order, the better off you will be. If equipment weights do not change in game, then this mod is not in the correct spot on your load order and most likely needs to be higher up." In order to test this, use the Steel Mace as an example. It's original weight is 19 ibs. This mod has changed that to 18 ibs instead.

Uninstallation
---------------
Open Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, find and deactivate the mod in the list, click ok, exit the Launcher, go to Oblivion/Data folder, find and delete all files from the mod, done.

Optionally, re-sort your mod list load order before playing the game again.

Terms/Tags
-----------
Durable - Equipment that has +2 ibs weight compared to modded equipment of same name.
Example: "Durable Steel Longsword" and "Steel Longsword"

Fine - Equipment that has -2 ibs weight compared to modded equipment of same name.
Example: "Fine Iron Short Sword" and "Iron Short Sword"

Rusty - Only applys to Iron equipment. This Term means that the equipment has +1 ibs weight compared to modded equipment of same name.
Example: "Rusty Iron Mace" and "Iron Mace"

Arena equipment - Not changed, I assume that this is special in game arena only armor. Can be found in the item lists when using the Construction set.

Scripted equipment - Not changed, I assume that this is special in game equipment used as a placeholder for something. Can be found in the item lists when using the Construction set.

Conflicts
----------
Unknown, if any. However, I would assume that using any other mod that changes armor or weapon weights will conflict with mine. Also keep in mind that this mod will not effect the weight of any custom armor or weapons that another mod may add to the game. You would need to use the "Construction Set" program to mod the weight of any custom armor or weapons yourself. Lastly, incase I forgot to mention this; you "do not" need to make a new character in order to use this mod! All it does is change item weights in game.

Changelog
----------
v1 - Version 1 of the mod; original release; out of date.
v2 - Version 2 of the mod; touched up on both Daedric and Dremora weapons and armor. Made Dremora lighter than Daedric based on damage, armor, and level of the equipment; second release of the mod; current version.
