About this mod

ALL WEAPONS WEIGH MUCH LESS. Use this with a backpack mod and edit your carry weight to more realistic levels with a simple bashed patch tweak. This will encourage the use of more varied weaponry, while inhibiting the ability to loot much armor, which is more realistic. This mod is modular with several popular mods covered.

How To Install

1. Download & Unzip into a temporary location.
2. This mod is several modular ESPs. (I named each of them appropriately, if you have any of the mods installed, install my corresponding ESP after. )
3. Drop "Oblivion-WeaponWeight.esp" into your Oblivion/Data folder.
4. Drop any of the optional ESP's that you need.
    Optionals: All DLC's, Armamentarium, Immersive Weapons, Armory of the Silver Dragon, Better Cities Resources.

How To Edit Carry Weight

Carry weight is calculated through this formula. "Strength Stat X (5)".
So, for every point of strength you have, you can carry 5 pounds/feathers.
You can edit this (5) value in Wyre Bash.
1. Right click "bashedpatch.esp" in Wrye Bash, and click "Rebiuld Patch"
2. Let it load... okay, now click "Tweaks" in the menu.
3. Click the first tweak, and edit your carry weight multiple.
    When entering a custom multiple, type "23" for "2.3", or "40" for "4". Just add a zero.
4. Click okay, and let it load again. 
5. Activate the BashedPatch.esp in your Load Order.

Details
If I'm encouraged, I will reweigh all armors as well, but heavy armors will still remain very heavy. I prefer realism and am a masochist.
This mod took me around 10 hours of mind numbing repetitive clicking.
This is why I uploaded it, to save anyone with a similar vision the expense.
Hop in TES4Edit and change the weight of any of your modded weapons to fit the theme if you are OCD.

Delete OMOD if you use it and download Mod Organizer. Right now.

WARNING
[If you installed Steam in program files, you will always have to run Mod Organizer "as administrator", or your LOAD ORDER WILL RESET ONE DAY.]
[if you installed any game you are running through mod organizer IN PROGRAM FILES, you will always have to run Mod Organizer as ADMINISTRATOR]
NOTE You can backup your load order in mod organizer with one of the interface buttons easily (your esp order, and "Mod installation" Order) to avoid RESET. TO AVOID IT ALTOGETHER, and many other common issues, dont install anything in program files. Windows is sketchy about it. Install things in
my Documents, or on C, or on another drive.

THE BEAUTY OF MOD ORGANIZER IS IT BACKS UP YOUR OBLIVION (OR SKYRIM, FALLOUT 3,NV,4 'with a separate MO install') FOLDER
THAT MERGES MOD ORGANIZERS "MOD INSTALLATION" LIST WITH YOUR GAMES DATA FOLDER IN A VIRTUAL DRIVE 
(That only exists when you run your game through mod organizer. Install mod organizer in your games main folder, where the .exe is)
(Mod Organizer will recognize most .exe programs commonly installed in the games main folder, including OBSE, Wrye Bash)
(Remember to run all .exe through mod organizers custom launcher, so that they will detect your virtual drive's mods, and not just your vanilla load order)
Mod Organizer makes modding simple and fun and much easier to understand. From using it, I now am comfortable enough to manually install the most complex mods, but I still prefer to use mod organizer because it keeps everything safe because everyone is prone to masking mistakes,
this allows you to experiment, just becareful of ever replacing important files like fallout.ini, d3d9.dll, any .dll files. BACK THESE UP by copy and pasting them into a safe folder. Mod organizer helps you view the contents of each mod and nuderstand what it is you aredownloading exactly, once you get a handle of TES4Edit. This will allow you to customize your game and merge mods together. If you dont use TES4Edit to look at your installed mods, you definately have many items that are overwriting eachother, a bashed patch does not fix this, nothing fixes this but manually getting in their and tweaking things yourself, aligning things so that chnges from multiple mods coincide with eachother, this gives your game the stability it needs when being modded.
The only thing i can imagine the Creation Kit being used for is manually adding things to the gameworld. Other than that all tweaks should be left to TES4Edit. TES4Edit never crashes and is very easy to use, just experiment slowly so you dont do any damage to your ESPs. Or you can just back them up beforehand. Go slow, and soon you will know what to do, even if you have no exerience these programs make modding easy and enjoyable. and pay off in game.

This Mod contains simple ESPs and should be easy as possible to install.
This mod with not conflict with the Unofficial Patch, and applies all changes made to weapons by the patch on its own.
