this is a simple texture replacement mod for the sunglare effect, adapted from a real life sun snapshot with the gimp. to work correctly disable ingame HDR and enb sunray effects otherwise you will not see the effect of my mod.

it looks more natural and is performancefriendly.  if you combine my sunglare with oblivion reloaded godrays you may fintune it to work perfectly together while using timeenabled=false in or godray setting.  optimal hdr bloom sunglare finetuned settings are reached if sun and sunglare are both slightly overbrightend and look like merged. try the same finetuning with the sunglare effect and the color and brightness of the god rays while sun is about to be covered. this should give you realistic sunglare and sunray effects.

i recommend natural environments weather mod ! install my mod after this mod otherwise it will be overwritten.

installation
just put the content in the game data folder. the package replaces the texture in the standard and the natural environments folder. before overwriting the standard files make a copy.

this replacer should work fine with all weather mods and or godray shaders. just make shure to install this replacer after all other weather mods and after oblivion reloaded! archive invalidation is recommended.
