Using MBP ++ and associated mods in 2023 this is a great fix for most of the eyes. The only ones missing is violet bosmer and dremora. I also had to edit a set of argonian eyes. Easy fixes by renaming files or creating the eyes myself but just a heads up for anyone trying to make all this work.
I found out the mod needs a mod called MBP/Modular beautiful people (which you need to get from a non american website which I used a google translate addon for firefox to see which things was the link to the download, I only used one of them. everything seems fine so far so I don't think there's any malware
Firstly, I am using MO Legacy. For anyone having problems with Dremora, Seducer, and saints eyes, check TES4Edit for any mismatch records under "eyes" for Oblivion Races Unlocked 3.5+ and correct them. Then copy and paste your 3 vanilla/compatible race eye textures or meshes to the folder structure of your conflicted mod/mods as the exact same directory location within TES4Edit's mismatched records listed. This fixed googly eyes for the 3 races for me.
Returning back to Oblivion after Skyrim, this mod fixed a major conflict with OCO2 and Elaborate Eyes.
I added the orcs eye textures from this mod to fix a residual problem with them. Bosmer were OK except for those with Violet Eyes which weren't covered by this mod. I copied over the Bosmer Green Eyes as a work around which fixed the problem except the violet eyes of course were green.
Endorsed. And now in terms of aesthetics I'm more than happy with how ES IV has turned out.
I don't even use OCO and this mostly solved my googly eyes problem with MBP. I still had to look for a few eye textures in another site, but this was a great help to finally get rid of the googly eyes. Thank you so much!
Googly eye is one of those unique but common bugs that plague Oblivion. In Skyrim gray face bug is kind of counterpart of this bug (example) CTD on save load is classic plague bug for Skyrim because of overreaching limit of savegame strings (65535) and animation number limit as well applies. Thanks to luck we don' t have the same kind of bug in Oblivion.
@ General_Durandal - googly eye is tricky to fix because it can be any of the following listed below. Without providing any information there is no way we can help you. Googly eye causes: -mismatched textures and meshes of the eye (use Nifscope to find out the eye texture path examples & example 2) -the path of the eye is changed by some plugin (same example below in imgur link) -editor ID was edited for the eye record (example here) -the eye path in the race record was changed (example here here)
Lastly tetchystar I want to thank you for your work. Now we can enjoy less potato-headed Oblivion with OCO and with MBP2 hairstyles we get finally somewhere closer toward quality of Skyrim vanilla characters. Thank you for you hard work without this patch it wouldn't be possible.
