For those who want this to work as a replacer, the readme is unclear (and actually partially wrong). Luckily I can read Japanese, and the instructions explain how to do it. Here's how to do it though:
1. Open up the archive, browse to the Meshes\SpicyFox\ folder then go into the folder of your choice (C or E cup). 2. Inside it, you'll find an "armor" folder. You can just cut and paste this into your Oblivion\Data\Meshes\ folder. 3. Contrary to what the readme says, you don't actually need any .esp files (pretty much the case for most true replacers). The replacer .esp does nothing, but will override in case you have a "replacer" that points to different meshes. All it does really is tell the game to look in the folders it already knows.
Take note, it will overwrite any other files you had in there, so if you're not sure about what you're doing, back up that Meshes\Armor\ folder beforehand.
I recommend using Wrye Bash and making a BAIN package out of this, so that BAIN can just anneal the files as needed.
with this posts help i was half able to get it to function, about half of the sets worked while the other half didn't and the ones that did or did not work was mostly at random, the sets i remember specifically that were the most notable for not working was elven and deadric while at the same time sets like leather, ebony, orcish, or steel did work
any information on how i could get the other sets to work as now i just feel sad since i don't feel like i should even upgrade to deadric
I like to use the male to female version of the elven armor in this mod for a mod I'm working on however I don't understand the permissions given in the description. Dose this mean it's free to use as long as I don't intend to make money and such and credits are given?
Thanks to hidemaro for this excellent work and for taking the trouble to make it available to people who speak a different language. I think the explanation means that you should install the addon esp if you only want the wearable armour, and if you want it wearable and as a replacer you use the replacer esp, not both.
There are definitely armours that aren't showing up. The steel armour shows up as an invisible body, so I'm thinking there's an issue with a missing texture or something.
I was actually wrong about that. I had both the addon and the replacer esp. checked. I unchecked the addon and it worked just fine. Thanks for this great mod
Absolutely amazing work! Am so sick of all the aids infested hooker outfits that usually plague this modding community. These are some great looking, non-skimpy, functional armors, very nice. Keep delivering great content!
