Before I download, any chance that you might do a tiny update and change one of the corpses in or outside Kvatch to a Dunmer? So that Jiub can be in this game too? The Dragonborn is able to talk to him in Soul Cairn and according to Jiub or rather St. Jiub he died in Kvatch, killed by a Dremora who used Soul Trap on him. So a change to this is lore-friendly.
Inside Kvatch hidden in a little spot there is a face of a dunmer very close to Morrowind Jiub. Then if you use Kvatch Rebuilt Jiub lore is taken into account
Congratulations on this mod, it's a little gem which I thoroughly enjoy using on my playthrough of Oblivion. (Also props on the war axe you added to the burnt guy crawling out of the lava) A must have!
Looks like a really good mod that seems like you've put a lot of time and care into. Also props on the idea of scattered weapons. Will definitely be checking this mod out.
This isn't meant to sound like an actual 'complaint' (love the mod, btw - it's a must-have) but I've noticed that new files have been uploaded recently (I check recent files daily), but the version number and changelog appear to have stayed the same. Are the new uploads actually updates containing bugfixes or whatnot that we should know about? Some folks just rely on their mod managers and version numbers to check for updates and stuff.
If by the above you mean the v1.1 re-post that I mentioned in the mod description? A user pointed out a bad edit of a single piece of furniture stuck in a wall in Kvatch castle within hours of my first posting it. So I removed the mod, fixed it, and re-posted it. At the time, I just wanted to get the fix out as quickly as possible so I could move on to other things and didn't think it warranted it's own full and proper "update," especially when only about 8 people had downloaded it by the time the re-post went live anyway. But you are right to point out that this change ought to be better documented, so I'll fix that. In any case, I am glad that you like the mod.
*nods* I figured it might have just been a small 'bump' change like that. Thanks for the reply. I like this mod and the coffins contain corpses. I have small kids that watch me play, though, so my statues must remain 'deadric princes of Ken Dolls' lol
Thank you for that paid attention to my suggestions and made the changes. Thus you add a little more realism Noticed a slight bug: in the Count's Quarters, display case on the right - stuck in the wall. P.S. Good luck in new year
I thought I fixed that. Guess not. *Ugh* Thanks for alerting me; I'll get that fixed in a jiffy. Thank you for providing the feedback that you have, and happy New Year to you too! : )
Feedback is all I can help you make the mod is even better Thanks to you too for the quick reply. Maybe it's a feature in my game, but when I hover over the dead body (only guards), there is no inscription - "dead guard" or similar. With the dead citizens, dremora, etc. all right.
The guard thing is also weirdness from the original game, similar to the we-died-with-our-weapons-sheathed absurdity. Sorry, but I'm inclined to let this be, as I want to move on to other projects.
Does anyone know if this mod is compatible with "Oblivifall - Losing My Religion"? LMR adds seven dead "Knights of the Hour" and a dead "Akatosh Chantry Priest" at Kvatch. It is a few weeks since I last played through the main quest but I think most (all?) are inside the Kvatch oblivion gate. If this mod does not conflict with LMR I would like to use it the next time I do the MQ.
I checked out the corpses added by LMR. As far as I can tell, there are no compatibility issues between these two mods. If anything, this should enhance the changes LMR makes to Kvatch quite well.

Edit: Got it fixed. Thanks Guinefort!
but like I said, still very nice
All the best
Again, not complaining, just curious.

Good luck in your future endeavors.
