Hi all.  Welcome to Coffins Contain Corpses, a quicky I decided to throw together for Halloween.  Is this the second part of my Oblivion Immersion Series?  It didn't quite start out that way, but eh, why not?  So what this mod does:

It adds corpses from various modder's resources to open coffins found in caves, to Ayleid ruins, and to the cave networks in Mehrunes Dagon's realm

This mod started out as a little idea to add preserved bodies to the empty coffins littering the caves of Cyrodiil.  Because Oblivion simply does not have enough dead people already.   Anyway, this little idea ended up snowballing into something a bit more extensive.  Hence the somewhat non-indicative name.  This mod comes in three flavors:

Coffins Contain Corpses - Caves (the coffin thing I mentioned above)
Coffins Contain Corpses - Ayleid Ruins (what it sounds like)
Coffins Contain Corpses - Oblivion (adds corpses to the alcoves in the Oblivion tunnel network)

Each of these files is independent, so use which ever ones you like.  The initial versions are mesh replacers for the vanilla coffins and certain sections of Ayleid ruins and Oblivion caves.  The bodies you see
there are not custom-placed (that took WAY too long), but are added
into the vanilla meshes.  There will be some weirdness with obvious
repetitions and clipping in a few spots.  Note that the clipping issue is no longer present for CCC - Oblivion update. 

There are three updated versions now available:

Coffins Contain Corpses - All in One
Coffins Contain Corpses - All in One update
Coffins Contain Corpses - Oblivion update

The Oblivion update file contains an esp and hand-placed corpses in the Oblivion tunnel networks, which should get rid of that weird clipping issue that happened with the first version.  All in One compiles everything: Caves, Ayleid Ruins, and Oblivion update, into one file.  Same as before, these can be used independently.  The All in One update is a new, cleaned, esp-only version of the original All in One file, meant to act as a replacement file, but still requires All in One for the meshes and textures.  To use it, install it after the original All in One and let the new esp overwrite the old one.

To upgrade from an earlier version, uninstall it first, then install the updated version of your choice

The CCC- Oblivion update and CCC - All in One render their earlier counterparts redundant.  Do not run CCC - Oblivion update with the original CCC - Oblivion file.  CCC - All in One contains the Oblivion update in addition to CCC - Caves and CCC - Ayleid Ruins, so if you choose this one, run this one only.  The CCC - All in One update is a cleaned, esp only, version of the CCC - All in One file, meant to replace the earlier esp file, so you must let it overwrite the old one in order to use it. 

Incompatible with mods that edit the meshes or textures of coffins, Ayleid ruins, or the cave networks in Mehrunes Dagon's realm.  It should be possible to bypass texture mod incompatibilities with the following:

- As long as the texture overhaul mod in question does not edit texture pathing in any way, i.e. replacement textures use the same names as vanilla textures and as long as the modded textures retain the vanilla folder locations

Just install this mod after the texture pack of your choice, and as long as the above is true, then it should be fine.
