Experimental memory tweaks for Oblivion

MoreHeap
YUM! YUM! YUM!
version 1.1

Description

The game engine allocates a static block of memory at startup for use in its various insufferable processes. Once this block of memory runs out, it ends up behaving in ways that are considered to be impolite in modern society, viz., CTDs, et al. Or so goes the theory.

Fine Print

MoreHeap allows the user to increase the size of the initially allocated memory block, possibly increasing stability in the process. Please note the emphasis on the word 'possibly'.

Copy it to your root game folder (like you do with OBSE) and start the game/editor as you would normally (with the OBSE launcher or otherwise).

An INI file named 'MoreHeap.ini' will be generated in the same folder and should have settings to configure the initial memory allocation size (in MB) for the game and the editor. The default value for both is 256. Sizes can be no larger than 1024 and no smaller than 256.

Compatibility

This is an experimental plugin - It's left as an exercise to the user's imagination to decide what that entails.
