DESCRIPTION
============
Emberwake's Faster Oblivion Combat (EFOC) is a collection of straightforward Game Setting tweaks designed to liven up the pace of combat in Oblivion. Unlike many larger combat overhauls, this is not a rebalance. I have not tweaked Racial Abilities, Birthsigns, Health Pools, Weapon Stats, or anything else to compensate for these altered settings.
There are three types of changes involved in this mod:
1) Fatigue changes: a) Fatigue regenerates slightly more quickly than in vanilla Oblivion, and b) Jumping costs less fatigue.
2) Damage changes: All weapon attacks deal roughly 50% more damage than vanilla (without altering the weapon stats themselves). This will effect both your damage as well as that of your opponents.
3) Durability changes: Weapon and Armor durability decays at a significantly slower rate (although this is somewhat offset by the higher damage values)
INSTALLATION
============
While I recommend using Bain or OMM, this is a simple ESP with no hidden tricks. You can always just drop "EFOC.esp" into your data folder. To uninstall, remove that file.
EFOC will conflict with any other mod that alters these global values, but frankly there simply aren't a lot out there that take this approach. If in doubt, be sure to place EFOC near the end of your load order. I can confirm that I have not yet experienced any problems combining EFOC with OOO Lite.
