Thanks a lot Shademe. This is a great learning tool for a noob like me. Thanks to fingerschnipp too for the Tes4Edit tip too. The RuST Report Tool didn't work for me. It bombs out with an invalid floating point error.

    Should be credited much more.
In order to analyze the log file, use Tes4Edit.
right click on the scripts entry from a mod, choose other, and log analyzer.
    much better.

@Daniel, thank you for the kind words This OBSE plugin is basically a modder's resource - It lets you determine how much time each script takes to execute in a single frame. It can be used to detect bottlenecks in their code, which can optimized to improve performance. Generally speaking, scripts don't take that much of the game engine's CPU time but there are always corner cases.

Hi Daniel, I think I may have a "corner case"
My latest save has started running really slow (1 FPS) and after a bit of testing I found that it only does this when OBSE is running. Without OBSE, it's fine but obviously my mods don't get the benefit of all that OBSE goodness. So I figured there's a rogue script somewhere and after googling a little I found your little tool.

I installed Rust and loaded my save, ran around for a few seconds (at slideshow speed!) and quit the game to view the output. After importing into Excel 2010 (the file was truncated as too long!) and sorting by the Elapsed Time, I discovered that a script with the ID 3600C77F is taking 1200ms to run. I suspect that this is the script that my game is choking on, but how do I now find which mod or plugin is running that script?

EDIT: Never mind I found it! It was the first OBSE plugin that I disabled (Vipcxj's Real High Heels System, required for HGEC Sinblood Lethal Majesty outfit). Removed the OBSE plugin and my FPS is back to normal and my save is once again playable!

      Thanks!!

Thanks for linking to Mind's mod Shademe. It helped me make some sense of this really awesome tool. It's a behind-the-scenes look at what kind of pain I've done to my Oblivion setup with mods. As I posted there, though, it's was only 15 ms average per frame. Like your setup says, perhaps this is good for reducing paranoia.

I don't understand what this does, which probably means I'm not the type of person who should use it, but I am still curious. Could you be ever so kind to explain what this does for people like me who aren't that bright?
From reading the current explanation I'm guessing that this makes it so scripts are made to run easier/better for slower processors. Am I totally wrong on that?
By the way, I'm a big fan of some of your other mods so a thank you is in order. Thank You.
