Ok I'm using this mod, and the weird part is, the 'long bridge' that connects the imperial Isle to the front area of the house, is non existent, save for a short stump of it that juts out a few feet over the water, and much of the house is buried, with barely enough of the front door showing to enter...

There is a farm next to it from REGION REVIVE LL, that is also half buried, and I'm using UL II, along with the compatibility patch:
Region Revive - Lake Rumare 1.3
    UL:Imperial Isle 1.6.6
    Version 1.3.4

My version of UL II is version 1.6.8 though, could this have anything to do with the landscape errors? I haven't a clue what could be causing this mess..

Well, you most definitely have a landscape conflict where another mod is overriding and causing the long bridge to be non existing. You'll have to try with loadorder changes if you want it to work any better.

The author didn't construct these house mods with Better Cities, Unique Landscapes, Reclaiming Sancre Tor, Region Revive - Lake Rumare, or other large landscaping mods installed, which causes a huge amount of conflicts that make many of these houses unusable. Patches were never made for any of them that I'm aware of. I'm able to use Red Rose, Roxey, & Aleswell, but the rest conflict too badly with various mods.

As this is such an old mod perhaps you could look at 'massaging' the terrain yourself in the CK, I don't know of a patch and to be honest I can't see one being made any time soon, so really either that or choosing what to use/lose might be your only option.

I gotta say I'm an admirer of your homes, they are simply adorable, beautiful and some quite interactive, not to mention superbly companion friendly. I just started using companion keys from your, (mine now , Aleswell Cottage and its a great thing to see my companions fuss about around the house.

Now here is one question I have concerning companion keys, for Longbridge Cottage specifically. The readme mentions those keys which *can be found in a small chest on a drawer upstairs* - is it just me or this cottage has no upstairs ? I mean, humpty-dumpty have I gone and misplaced an entire floor of your, (mine now ) new cottage ? I guess what I'm asking is, where can the companion keys be if there is no upstairs to this home. More to the point, the keys I will eventually find I'm sure, but the top floor, that is mysteriously perplexing. I think Vinicia Melissaeia at the Office of Imperial Commerce in the Market District where I bought the house may have swindled me !!!

Seriously though, thank you for your wonderful and practical home(s) - with companions in tow I always have a safe, comfy, and practical refuge to get back to thanks to you. Totally impressed and grateful.

My guess is that the readme mistake is from copying from Maple Cottage.

The Companion Key chest is on the small table right across from the alchemy station, just to your right as you come in the door.

      - Edit - Emma, when I was looking at the mod in the CS I noticed that an edit has been made to the AnvilArvenaThelasHouse interior cell. Is this an intentional edit?

I've been trying to install various house mods and NONE have appeared in the game..I restarted the game and made sure the boxes were checked in Data Files. The option to buy the cottage doesn't appear when talking to the right npc..All I can get is a hovel.. Help please? :/

      In response to post #11630069.

How are you trying to install this mod? A manual install is very easy. Download the file LongbridgeCottage ver 1 1 now with sheep-41646-1-1.7z to a temporary folder and extract it using 7-Zip. You will now have four files in the folder when you view it's contents in Windows Explorer. Right mouse click on EMBridgeHouse.esp and select Copy from the right click menu. Now navigate in Windows Explorer to your game's Bethesda Softeworks\Oblivion\Data folder and right mouse click on the Data folder. Select Paste from the right click menu. Do the same with the file EMBridgeHouse.bsa (copy from the extracted download and paste into Data). Open the vanilla game launcher and select Data Files. Click beside EMBridgeHouse.esp to give it a black X and then launch the game the normal way (which will vary depending on whether you have the disk version of the game or the Steam version and whether you use Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) or not).

Vinicia Melissaeia at the Office of Imperial Commerce in the Market District should now offer you both the vanilla Waterfront District shack and Longbridge Cottage.

Beautiful and practical also. And it has coffee too! And a curing statue for when they overdo the coffee. ;-) I appreciate the horse shed with hay and water also. Now there are sheep to supply the wool spinning, weaving and sewing! And it works so well without any problems as do all your mods. What more could we ask, except more of them for other parts of Cyrodill. ;-)

Thank you for this really lovely cottage.

You don't actually have to keep the sheep at the Longbridge cottage - you can let them wander at any abode of yours. But, if you want to make use of the wool that they produce, it can only be spun at the spinning wheel in the Longbridge cottage.

This mod has been upgraded to ver 1.1 now with optional sheep.

Buy your own sheep and let them provide you with Longbridge wool for your spinning. The sheep are for sale at Roxey Inn - talk to Malene. You can buy up to four sheep and two lambs.

Some time ago I released a mod called Useful farm animals for COBL. Since then, several players have requested that I should include sheep with that mod. However, as wool doesn't exist in COBL, adding sheep would have been quite useless.
But, in Longbridge Cottage, you can spin your own wool, and by adding the sheep to this mod instead, they will indeed be useful. As the other farm animals can be bought at Roxey Inn, the same goes for the Longbridge sheep.

I tried it but it doesn't work so it must be that I'm using several replacers. I'll just disable. Thanks for working with me though, much appreciated.

According to the uploaded screenshot there doesn't seem to be anything missing. The ID number is 52004676. But everything seems to be there: the two carpets on the wall, the 4-piece alchemy set and candles on the table, and the poison container and 2 chests underneath the table.
A mystery! LOL Let me know if you're able to figure it out from the ID number.
    Thanks!

    Good! <img class=">
I have done some detective work. The ID number is for a testtube static on the alchemy desk. I have checked inside the bsa, and the mesh is there. The textures are also in the bsa, except for a vanilla glass texture which shouldn't have to be included, as it is part of the original Oblivion. However, if you are using a multitude of texture replacers, there could possibly be oddities with the textures.

So, I have uploaded the glass texture as a separate optional file in the files section. I would be very interested to hear if installing it will help you.

If it doesn't work at all, you can of course just use the console to delete the testtube, as it is merely a static decoration which doesn't fill any real purpose. But it would be good to know if it is the vanilla texture that is missing for you, as I now am absolutely positive that the mesh and all the other textures for the tube is in the bsa-package.
