My enchanted equipment end up being worth 0 gold every time, no matter how expensive the enchantment was to make.

After further experimentation, it seems this affects ONLY heavy armor. All other pieces of equipment can be enchanted normally and will increase in value. Heavy armor enchantments cause the armor to become worth 0 gold. I wouldn't mind that too much if it weren't for the fact that it would make repairing them at a shop cost 0 gold as well. Not sure if it's this mod, but something is definitely doing this and somehow its only affecting heavy armor.

It's a good mod. One thing it does though is let you disenchant items with an enchantment that you already have learned before, which is a waste of gold.

That way it allows to REenchant that item with different enchantment, to user preference though.

It's cheaper to buy another unenchanted item.

The problem here may be that some items are hard to come by... And some are not available in shops.

Yep, and some come with really lame enchantments, especially if you want to give them to companions. I have no use for an Ebony Cuirass with a Waterbreathing enchantment on a companion who already has that as an always-succeeds ability, for example, but she could sure use some Shield or Resist Fire.

I might also like the look of an artifact, or a mod-added item, but not like the enchantment on it, and can use this to clear it out and do my own (though one would probably need to be sure the item wasn't quest-required any longer before doing that).

    One thing about this mod:

You can create scrolls that can open doors that require a key.

Well no, just use it in accordance to how you want to play. Either not at all or imagine your character as so powerful they can open any door.

Well, no, just fix it, because it's a lame cheat.

Mig doesn't really update this mod anymore, I would recommend using Balanced Magic though.

I have never used it as it seems pretty old.

Midas Magic is dated too from what I played.

I'd only try Supreme Magicka or BM.

I gave this mod my endorsement.

It does exactly as advertised and integrates it into the game as if it it was already part of the vanilla game to begin with.
Another awesome thing is that this mod is really versatile in how configurable it is. A good example is that you can choose wether to use the spell-based enchanting system of Morrowind and vanilla Oblivion or the Disenchanting system of Skyrim. Whichever you prefer the most.

Highly recommended if you like Oblivion to have enchantment as a skill like Morrowind and Skyrim have.

I do have one suggestion: Turning an existing enchantment into a sigil stone is a real awesome feature to have, but can be considered very powerful, as it bypasses the use of soul gems, altars and ultimately this skill. And it allows you to combine the effects of multiple powerful items into one ultimate suit of armor. Isn't it an idea to have it as a perk reward, intended for reaching Master (but like the other perks, configurable in the ini)?

Any way to set the training costs for enchanting to a custom value? To match OOO prices for training.
