So, I have become spoiled by the shout in Skyrim that allowed me to detect life without casting a spell, so I made this ring for my new Oblivion thief character and I just thought I would share it. It grants an extremely potent detect life effect whenever worn, so that pure thieves can get by a bit more easily without having to resort to evil magics.
As it belongs to my character, Lizardman Man, it is called Lizardman Man's special ring. Deal with it, that's the price of cheating (which is pretty small in this case, all things considered).

It's sitting right on the left counter of the Best Defence in the Imperial city, feel free to pick it up.
