About this mod

An vault-like Ayleid Ruin to store and display armor/weapons or loot.

Permissions and credits
------ >> Ayleid Sky Storage

This mod was initially an idea of mine a few years ago but never materialized due to the lack of motivation to finish it. After picking up Oblivion once more, I have finally completed it. This is my first and (probably?) only mod for Oblivion.

------> Description

I wanted to have a home based on the Ayleid Ruins and was made solely to display all the loot/armor/weapons I have collected through out the game. The problem was that I felt like the Ayleid Ruins felt kinda creepy to live in due to the fact they were initially made to act like a dungeon, not as a home. In order to remove the gloomy and dark atmosphere I decided instead of creating an Ayleid Ruin based underground, why not in the sky?

------> Features

3 rooms. All containers have all new ID's so they will not respawn in case you have a mod that modifies vanilla Oblivion containers. You can fast travel while inside any room.

Varlasel - Exterior
Entrances to main hallway and shop are located here. You shall die instantly if you fall off.

Varlasel Seli - Shop and Bedroom
Merchant and bedroom are located here. Both rooms are separated and have separate entrances.

Varlasel - Main Hallway
10 Mannequin Display Bases, 8 Small Display Cases, 8 Display Cases, a Bedroom (Spellmaking & Enchantment Altars) and a Empty Room

Varlasel Lattasel - Storage Area
22 Mannequin Display Bases, 8 Small Display Cases, 8 Display Cases, 10 Weapon Display Cases and a Storage Room

Varlasel Abasel - Hidden Vault (Behind the throne)
32 Mannequin Display Bases, 16 Weapon Display Cases and a Small Storage Room.

------>>> Changelog

> Depending on the version you use, if you upgrade from a 1.x to an 1.y then you must remove equipment and items. However if you upgrade from 1.x.x to 1.x.y it is not needed as it is not a major update.

v1.3.2
- added a few objects to the exterior
- added the option of replacing the display cases with Strotis Ayleid Chest and Display
- replaced the two bookshelves and replaced with one large one

v1.3.1
- added additional ruins to exterior
- added two items to merchant and removed one
- changed the location of several buttons
- changed a few attributes of the exterior ruins to remove bulkyness
- fixed the missing mannequin in vault

v1.3
- added 2 new cells
- added a exterior-like cell to show outside of ruin
- added a new cell where merchant and bedroom are now located
- added 4 display mannequins in hidden vault
- added 4 storage casks in hidden vault
- added button in entrance to prevent being stuck
- changed the entrance to the ruins
- removed 2 storage casks from entrance

NOTE >>> If you fall from the exterior of the ruins you instantly die. Also note that the cell is not located in Tamriel; if you use any kind of God-mode and fall off you shall fall indefinitely.

Authors Note: I hope this is is my final release. If I release anything else it shall be minor tweaks or bug fixes (if any). I cannot think of anything else to add and for that I am also thankful because I can add and add and never really feel truely satisfied with this mod.

v1.2
- added a merchant who will buy stolen goods, recharge and repair equipment
- added an additional gate to entrance
- added additional weapon display cases in storage area
- removed statues in storage area
- removed buttons located above stairs
- removed collision boxes on windows
- changed cave walls from hidden vault and replaced them with regular tall walls
- changed the fog color to grey and distance
- changed statues in throne room
- changed the method of using mannequins. See below.
- fixed a misplaced planter located in bedroom

v1.1
- added large roots to Main Hall and Hidden Vault
- added 1 small display case in the bedroom
- added collision boxes to windows
- removed broken columns from Hidden Vault (incase you use Ceanos Ayleid Ruins)
- changed the storage room entrance
- changed the entrance gate to look more functional instead of it sliding into nowhere

------> Location

Right side of the first sewer exit from the start of the game (Imperial Prison Sewer) or behind Sideways Cave.

------> Bugs/Incompatibilities

- If mannequins do not show armor, it is most likely because the armor is stolen. You must fence your armor first and buy it again.
- Possibly any mod that interferes/modifies the cell (Wilderness 12, 17) where the entrance is located.

------> Contents/Installation

- Ayleid Sky Storage.esp
-> This is the unmodded file. Does not require any other mods to be used.

- Ayleid Storage Male/Female Mannequin Addon.esp
-> These require "TLS Modded Mannequins" and "Ayleid Sky Storage". Places display mannequins on the display bases.

- Ayleid Storage Display Case Addon.esp
-> This requires "Strotis Ayleid Chest and Display Resource" and "Ayleid Sky Storage". Replaces all display cases (except ones in bedroom) and adds some.

Simply copy/move contents into your Oblivion/Data folder.

NOTE >>> Please note you can only activate one mannequin addon at a time. If you are using "Ayleid Storage Female Mannequins", you cannot use the male counterpart.

------> For the Optional Plugins

If you want mannequins already included and placed, you need to download "TLS Modded Mannequins" in order to use them.

If you want to replace display cases with something which fits the atmosphere of an Ayleid ruin you need to download "Strotis Ayleid Chest and Display Resource".
