    Thank you Rowan!

Took me a week to make the race. lol

Nope that wouldn't do it, I installed just the .esp on one of my other installs (I use Multiple Oblivion Manager, or, MOM, very handy application.) didn't crash at all, I really don't know what's causing Rage to have the crashes.

    Lovely character BTW!

I do enjoy. Wonderful race - must have taken you a lot of time to do >.<

Esp works fine for me, but I enabled all the hair - it may crash if all the hair were not downloaded, I think - not sure. I had no problems with it at all.
Uploaded a pic. Endorsed. One of my chars had a make up overhaul and just remembered her past lives as a Star Orphan

Kudos for you for reading, but a crash with the mod active? :S Hmm, this is troubling, I'll download the .esp that was uploaded and see if it works. If you can try and run a conflict report with OBMM and see if anything comes up it would be handy, but I don't see how this would conflict with anything.

You downloaded at least 1 hairpack and the head textures, yes?

    EDIT:

Downloaded the .esp and enabled in a clean install I have of Oblivion, started up fine, so the .esp isn't corrupted. Redownload, maybe when you downloaded it the .esp got corrupted for you. Only other possibility is a conflict, and I don't even know how that could be possible. This mod has nothing in it that could conflict with anything else. *shrug*

Okay, so, read the readme (not because of your rant, though it was a good one and got me to crack a smile, but because I always read them to make sure I understand the function of any mod before I add it to my game) and didn't find any install instructions out of the norm, so I have to ask, is there something I missed?

Oblivion will not launch with the .esp active, though as soon as I deactivate it the game launches and runs fine. It could be a conflict, but honestly, there shouldn't be any since this doesn't modify anything in the game that any of my other mods change, and has all of its components located in their own folders so nothing at all is overwritten.

I downloaded and installed all of the required files, .esp opens in the CS and displays everything fine, but when I try to launch the game with this active, it crashes before even reaching the Beth logo, so all I can think of is there must be a mod in my list that it conflicts with, or the .esp is possibly corrupted and needs to be uploaded again (though if that were the case I'd think it would crash the CS as well wouldn't it?).

I can get a list of my active mods and load order if it helps. I've tried moving the .esp around a bit, but no dice, still crashes, so further experimentation might be needed. I love the look of the race from what I can see in the screes and the CS, and it seems like I'd very much enjoy playing it, but I have to locate the source of the crash before being able to give you any feedback obviously, so I'll be working on that to let you know. If it turns out to be a conflict, I'll let you know what it is so you can put it in the readme to let people know, and if you want to do some experimenting on your end, maybe the two of us can figure it out.

I'm looking forward to getting this mod working and playable, though, and can't wait to try it out if I can get it straightened out.

@Rowanleeves: Thank you, I hope you enjoy!

@Domascus: I have faith in my fellow gamers, just not absolute faith. That rant was only directed at those that don't read. Those that did, and always do, I'm very happy with. You did, and you say you always do, so kudos for you and Rowan. You're both actually exceptions from the norm, most people just glance and download, and end up coming back asking for help when all they need to do is read. It's different when someone comes back with issues/questions not covered in the readme. I wish more people were like you and read, but unfortunately that is not the case, my rant was to try and convince those that don't usually read to try and make a habit of it, it is a good habit, and it will save a lot of time. I apologise again if I seemed rude, there was a little issue where people were insulting one of my other mods because of what they "thought" it did, which, if they read the manual, they would have known it does not do. My rant was also meant to prevent that happening again. The rant was not directed at you, so please don't take any offense. I asked another modder what they thought of my rant and they said it's sadly 100,000% true. If I am wrong, then by all means prove me wrong, I will love it if I am, because it just means that the norm is in fact people do read readmes and give modders a break. As of yet though, the opposite is true.
