Requirements
Permissions and credits
Battlehorn Castle Expanded adds a number of new cells or rooms to the Fighter's Stronghold DLC, greatly expanding the interior of the castle. All of the castle should now be explorable, which includes the four towers around the castle as well as the two front towers. There is a west wing hall as well as the east wing hall for dining and corridors which extend to the third floor. A Battlehorn knight will deliver new messages to you, explaining the many additional upgrades and improvements which are available. There are many new secrets to discover. Battlehorn Castle should also be very companion friendly including new dialog options.

My wish was to keep as many of the original cells as lightly altered as possible. However I did correct a few issues I felt may have been unintentional or simply overlooked. However, my hope was to create the many new rooms with the same look, sound and feel of the original.

Should anyone feel that the battle at the beginning of the quest is a little weak, head over to Chorrol. Just outside the city, between the stable and along the front wall you should discover a small sack. Inside you'll find two rings. The silver ring will add two more marauders to the fight, the gold will add four.

In the Upper Room Three you will find a key box which you may take a key from and give to your companion. This will provide a number of dialog options for your companion. I borrowed this idea from Emma's Red Rose Manor, however I implemented the key a bit differently.

This will very likely be incompatable with any other mod that affects the DLC. Also you may want to use a character save which hasn't visited the castle. With the many changes to scripts and AI packages as well as to the quest, many of the features may not function properly from a save with the original DLC. As an additional note, I have tested this plugin with a save that has completed the Battlehorn Castle quest and it appears to work just fine.

I used de-isolation technique using TES4Gecko and Wrye Bash. I used TES4Edit for cleaning. The gold textures I used are Bethesda's silver textures. I simply color matched them in Photoshop. All voice files are Bethesda's.

Future versions should include additional animations. I may also, someday, get around to expanding and filling out the basement. Please feel free to post any problems or issues on the Bethsoft forums. I hope this mod will be as enjoyable for you to play, as it was for me to make.
