   Missing mipmaps will result in the game making his own (crappy) mipmaps.
   If you want to be sure the reflections will not be visible from a distance you could add your own mipmaps and remove them from the reflection from the smaller ones.
   
   Could you add a screenshot of the entire face?

   Yes, I believe that the reflection works like a decal, as in each eye has the texture "painted on" each mesh.

   Does this work with every eye, I mean even custom ones?
