You are given a pair of bandages the first time this mod is loaded into your game. No need to start a new game. After that you must find the bandages, or buy them. Bandages can be found thoughout the map as loot. To avoid possible conflicts with other mods such Oblivion Overhaul, Adventurers and others none of the leveling lists or standard containers
have been touched. Instead a new container (cloth sack) containing bandages has been added to the game and is placed in random spots across the game map. Bandages are only found in Alyeid Ruins in which bandits have taken up residency. There are no bandages to be found in the Oblivion
realm. Make sure you are well stocked before entering through one of the Gates.
Bandages can also be found in various places throughout the Cyrodiil cities and settlements. All General Merchandise merchants carry bandages as part of their inventory for sale. Both the Fighters and Mages Guilds stock bandages for their members. These can be found in small crates located on the shelves inside the Guild buildings. These bandage crates are also found in the cities' warehouse buildings, chapels and barracks. These have no ownership flags placed on them.
This mod is only for those that like a greater challenge as it will make the game harder. Health level is something that you will keep a close eye on.

Version 1.2 addition:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A special spell that allows the Player to heal wounds without bandages has been added. Called Kynareth's Regeneration it is a spell that will close a wound and completely heal the Player. It may be cast at any time, even when you are not wounded and in combat. However, it requires an Expert skill level in the Restoration to cast, and it comes at great cost.
The spell regenerates 2 points of health per second while draining 2 pts of magicka and 1 point of fatigue above the regen rate per second (there are two different rates for the two groups of esp files provided). In addition, Kynareth's Regeneration, once casted, does not end until the Player is completely healed. If you run out of fatigue, you drop to the
ground and remain there until the spell ends. If you cast Kynareth’s Regeneration in the middle of a battle (very bad idea) you could end up on the ground, out of magicka and fatigue, your enemy hacking away at you. And because you are losing health you will never gain your feet because the spell will not be able to end and allow you to start regenerating fatigue. Makes carrying around bandages seem like a good idea after all.
The spell is learned by finding the Ancient Scroll of Kynareth, a rare scroll that may be found perhaps in one of the bookstores of Cyrodiil, deep in the darkest dungeon or even in Oblivion itself.
Version 1.25 change:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Ancient Scroll of Kynareth has been changed so that it can be used either to teach the Player Kynareth's Regeneration or be used like a regular scroll to cast the spell. Either use uses up the scroll. Players now need to be an Expert in Restoration in order to learn the spell.
The Tomb of a Kynareth Temple Priest has been added to the game, which contains the scroll along with bandages and other articles. The scroll is not in a leveled list so once you find the tomb you are assured of finding the scroll. The tomb is a unique container whose location will/should be found during the Main Quest. That’s all the clues you get. ^_^
