    Soundfx/Cliffworms/SoundsOfCyrodiil/SpecialEvents/MQBrumaBattle.wav
    Remove this file (worked for me) or replace it with a silentsound.wav from the folder next to it.
    by renaming it to MQ... after you made a copy.
    Or disable the command to play it with TS4Edit.

    Im getting weird battle/siege sounds in the cell right outside Brum's east gate. It goes away when I disable this mod. Anyone else have this issue?

      no ideas sorry, but assume it just pre-playing some reason.

      (there is a time of a Bruma Siege)

      Yea I found the audio files and just replaced them with silent tracks since I couldn't figure out how to fix it otherwise.

    I like it but it seems really buggy. It can silence other effects like restoration spells, and the screaming after the Battle of Bruma will not stop.

      Mod includes a silent sound file, just replace any sounds you dont want with it

    do I absolutely need wyre bash for this one cause im using windows 7 and wyre bash requires win8 or greater

    I ADORE this mod but the one thing I don't like is that the tavers have background music of their own that plays at the same time as the in-game BGM. Besides, it implies that there's a band playing when there is no such thing. Is it possible to remove it?

      This mod may cause some miss behave
      it may ctd (not always)
      because
      all of sound wav files in this mod is using stereo (wrong format) and wrong bitrate
      to achieve STABLE gameplay
      mp3 and WAV used for Oblivion must be ALWAYS in this format :
      44k + mono + Constant Bit Rate
      this rule only applies to syntax PlaySound / Say / SayTo
      not for Music mod category

      me without opening this mod ESP
      I can see that this mod is not optimized enough
      so we could say that this mod is great for sure
      but ... not up to its full potential

      SOLUTION : use free software called Audacity to convert all WAV sounds in this mod to have proper format
      as for this mod ESP ...
      I can't say much about this, too much projects right now ...

      It is a great mod yeah but I will not include it in my list of "Sound mods"… because of what you said, what I read about it, and my tests ..
      Thanks for proposing a solution !! I do not have time too to modify this mod, but it will probably help other people who wants to improve it.

      I am more than willing to convert all the sounds. I want to optimize SoS because it sporadically leads to random CTD on heavy mod setups.
      You should be totally fine if you don't out do yourself modding your Oblivion like me.
