EDIT: Removed the old script that prevented players from unequipping the armor, since it broke one of the other scripts. I also added a lesser power that allows players to bind a Tarnished Order Sword for 30 seconds, and rebalanced the stats to be more in line with the other Daedric races. And finally, I changed the armor from separate pieces  to just the armor and helmet, since it was screwing with the shading on the model. I promise I'm done updating this thing, there's just nothing more to do.

Description
------------------------------------------------------------
This mod adds Knights of Order as a playable race. I've often toyed around with putting on their armor and walking around in it, but it never really felt right. The armor was the knight's body, after all. So I decided to add the knights as a race, with their own stats, class, racial abilities, and voice. I grant that this mod may not be perfectly balanced, but I did my best to balance it with respect to its unique situation.

This esp uses a couple of scripts to give the knight of order its unique look. As soon as you select the Knight of Order in the race menu, a script will kick in that will weld a set of 'Tarnished Order Armor' to the knight's body.

However, I haven't permanently saddled you with a crappy suit of armor. At levels 3, 6, 10, 15, and 20, you will get a new set of Order armor with better stats. These compare to steel, dwarven, orcish, ebony, and daedric armors respectively, and correspond as well as I could make them with what the NPC enemies wear. This armor consists of a suit of armor and a separate helmet, and is fully enchantable and repairable.
One final note: While you don't by any means have to use the included 'Knight of Order' class, it's a good idea to make heavy armor a major skill, since you'll be spending a lot of time in it. Armorer too, if you can afford the space.

Installation
------------------------------------------------------------
Just drop the .esp and the 'sound' folder into your data folder (wherever that is). Make sure the mod is checked in the 'data files' section of the launcher, and you're ready to go.

Disclaimer
------------------------------------------------------------
I'm fairly new to Oblivion modding, and as such my knowledge of scripting is fairly lacking. There are most likely more efficient ways to build the scripts I used, but I focused mainly on getting the scripts to work.

If anyone wants to use this mod, feel free to. I don't really care if you credit me or not.

Bugs
------------------------------------------------------------
The armor script is designed to work with natural level progression. If you jump from level 1 to level 20, armor won't remove and equip as it should.

If something isn't working right, check your version of OBSE if the mod's install path is correct. This mod uses the latest (as of now) version of OBSE.
