Ainmhi race now comes with normal, black or white fur. Three separate races, fully playable. I also made the black and white races TALLER, along with a few other tweaks. They are a tad taller than the average race instead of being much shorter than any race! :)

Some of the tweaks included are:
-Different stats and race description from original Ainmhi, these are listed in a text file included in the download.
-Black and White Ainmhi now have extended canines.
-Soya 4 Hair Pack English and Babe's hair are included for the reworked gray and black Ainmhi (in addition to Ren's hairs). This is for later use with my CM Partner's Ainmhis, some of whom have Soya or Babe hair.


I will later included my CM partner ainmhi characters for black ainmhi, white ainmhi, and original ainmhi races.

1.1 Updates:

9/2/2011: Ainmhi Race Reworked is Complete! No problems or bugs remain. Enjoy!

v1.0 was causing CTD. This should be fixed now.
I also cleaned up the mod a bunch. This should be a MUCH smaller file than before. :)

5/27/2011 -- I have added a WORKING soundpatch v1.1. Ainmhi Race Reworked is now complete! I will be working on the CM Partners Ainmhi Reworked.

5/26/2011-- I took down the soundpatch v1.0 and added a tail patch v1.0

5/21/2011--I have uploaded a sound patch v1.0 to give the reworked ainmhi male and female voices (same voices as original ainmhi).

In the screen shots I used HGEC female body replacer mod, Robert's Male Body v5 replacer mod, HGEC High Rez Texture replacer, Ren's Beauty Pack, Soya 4 Hair Pack English, and MD Natural Faces.

NOTE: MD Natural Faces HIGHLY Recommended or else faces may look patchy!


PS. Contrary to rumor, the Ainmhi mod DOES have males, as you can see.

Installation

A. Installing Ainmhi Race Reworked (Just to be safe BACKUP YOUR OBLIVION/DATA folder before attempting an install)


1. REQUIRED--Make sure you have the OFFICIAL oblivion patch installed.

Also Make sure you have KT_customeracefix mod (obsolete) OR the UNofficial Oblivion Patch (recommended).

2. REQUIRED--Download and install Ren's Beauty Pack. You can install the full version or the hairs only version, either is fine. If you choose to install the full version, you must download and install BOTH rens hair only and rens hair full. Ren's hair full alone does not include the hairs.

3. REQUIRED--Download and Install Ainmhi race v1.2. Follow the instructions in the readme. Activate EITHER AinmhiRace-RensBeautyPackFull esp OR AinmhiRace-RensBeautyPackHairsOnly esp, NOT BOTH.

DO NOT USE AinmhiRace esp. Just delete two esps that you don't use (ie. delete ainmhirace.esp, and also delete either ainmhiracerensbeautypackfull.esp OR ainmhiracerensbeautypackhairsonly.esp.)

4. REQUIRED--Download my mod Ainmhi Race Reworked. Extract the contents from the archive to a temporary location (like your desktop or downloads folder). Open up the extracted folder Ainmhi Race Reworked. Copy these contents into your oblivion/data/ folder. Say yes to overwrite.

Delete or leave out the readme and race data txt files. These are not necessary for the mod to run, but are only included for information purposes.


Open up OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) or your Oblivion Launcher. Activate ONE of these esps, and delete the other:

AinmhiRaceReworked-RensBeautyPackHairsOnly.esp
AinmhiRaceReworked-RensBeautyPackFull.esp

Make a new game and test the mod. :) OR open the command console in game, type showracemenu in game to edit your race and looks. Make a new save and exit your game without closing the race change menu. Reopen your game and your race should be changed.


IN SUMMARY:

You should only have to activate three esps total:

1) _Ren_BeautyPack_onlyhairs.esp OR _Ren_BeautyPack_full.esp


2) AinmhiRace-RensBeautyPackHairsOnly.esp OR AinmhiRace-RensBeautyPackFull.esp
(These esps will give you the original ainmhi race that works with ren's hairs. You can turn this off or on at will depending on if you want all three races or just my gray and black versions.)


3) AinmhiRaceReworked-RensBeautyPackHairsOnly.esp OR AinmhiRaceReworked-RensBeautyPackFull.esp


NOTE: If you have any other ainmhi esps or ren esps than these, you probably did something wrong or already had installed a different version of one of the mods required for my mod. Please reread my read me, and reread the required mod's readme. I would not recommend having other ren or ainmhi esps checked besides the ones listed above (unless it is CM Partners Ainmhi, or something not related to installing the race itself.)

5. DOWNLOAD THE SOUND PATCH to fix Ainmhi Race Reworked to have voices. Extract the contents to a temporary location. Open the folder Ainmhi Reworked Sound Patch. Copy the Sound folder and paste it into your oblivion/data directory. Say yes to merge.
