DESCRIPTION
One of the first things I wanted to mod when I stepped foot in the Imperial City for the first time was the arena posters. To me, they seemed a little too comic-bookish. If you agree, this mod may be for you.
WHAT IT DOES
CM Arena Poster simply adds a new, more toned down poster to the various locations in the Imperial City. I toyed with a few gladatorial images in the background but finally decided that this simple, low key advertisement was best. See the before and after screenshots which are included.
INSTALLATION
Place the file icarenaposter01.dds into the following directory in your Oblivion Data folder:
textures/architecture/imperialcity
It shouldn't make any difference whether your copy of Oblivion is installed in a drive other than the C drive but if you have any problems PM me at the official forums under my username MarkQuinn.
I have also included an ArchiveInvalidation file which you will need in order to make this retexture work. I have purposely renamed it ArchiveInvalidation-ARENA JUST IN CASE someone wants to skip the readme and throws it all into the data folder haphazardly (and thus invalidating all their old invalidations! ;). I figure if they throw it all into the data folder with this incorrectly named text doc, the new poster won't show up in game and they'll open up this readme to find out why. To those people:
1) If you already have an ArchiveInvalidation file in your data folder, just open up mine, copy the entire line and past it at the bottom of yours.
2) If you DON'T have an ArchiveInvalidation file then simply rename mine "ArchiveInvalidation" without the quotes and place it in your data folder as is.
