About this mod

As a long time TES player while I rejoiced the first time playing Oblivion over the fact that magicka regenerated without having to rest or sleep, I felt that Bethesda set the rate too high and it was in need of reduction. This mod addresses this issue by reducing the rate in which magicka regenerates and makes other adjustments to the magic set

As a long time TES player while I rejoiced the first time playing Oblivion over the fact that magicka regenerated without having to rest or sleep, I felt that Bethesda set the rate too high and it was in need of reduction. This mod addresses this issue by reducing the rate in which magicka
regenerates and makes other adjustments to the magic settings.

This mod is only for those that like a greater challenge as these settings will make the game harder. It is suggested to use this mod in conjunction with my Fatigue Penalties mod so that the fatigue penalties for casting spells imposed by this mod will have consequences.

NOTE: If you are using my Tougher Regen Settings mod this one and Fatigue Penalties both duplicate the settings adjusted by that mod. You can deactivate (and toss into the recycle bin) Tougher Regen Settings and use Tougher Magic Settings and Fatigue Penalties instead.

1.1 - Adjusted fFatigueCastMult from 1.0000 to 0.1500 - Playtesting revealed how this setting adds to the fatigue drain by a factor based on the spell cost rather than a downward adjustment based on Willpower I had originally thought that it was . Sure be nice if we had some sort of manual on the settings rather find out what they exactly do by trial and error. ^_^
