Ruhester Dom is an easily defended fortress in the Colovian Highlands. The perfect place to live if you're constantly being chased by hordes of zombies, angry mobs, the Imperial legion, etc. The fortress is located northwest of Chorrol. Just follow the trail to Cloud Top; it's on a plateau just across the little bridge.

UPDATE 4/16/2011 - Uploaded version 1.1, which fixes some errors inside the fortress, including some poorly placed objects and the carpet in the Companion Quarters Hall. Also changes the ground textures around the fortress exterior.

PLEASE READ THE README BEFORE PLAYING. There is some info there that I am not going to bother repeating here, and some of it is important. Also, quite a few things have changed since certain screenshots were taken, so don't be surprised if a room isn't laid out exactly as it is pictured. For the most part, however, you are getting what you see.

The fortress features a good amount of room for companions to live. I personally have too many to know what to do with them, so I dedicated a large portion of the interior to companion housing. There are also a variety of player rooms. Don't like the Lord's quarters? Try the Fighter's or Mage's rooms. Too masculine? There's a Maiden's room too. Are these all too exposed? There are hidden lair-type rooms as well. There's also a panic room, intended as a retreat during an extreme emergency.

I'm not using any custom meshes, but Shivering Isles is required.

The name for the fortress was off the top of my head; I know Dom means Cathedral in German, but that's irrelevant.

I would love to hear any feedback you may have! This is my first released MOD so I'm open for whatever comments, criticism, or suggestions you may have. Also, I'd love to see pictures of your characters in/around the fortress!
