Love the mod, just have one query.

I've been unable to find the waterproofing book. I've already done the smuggler and pirates stuff, and despite my searching I just can't seem to find the book. It could just me being blind as a bat, or perhaps something is wrong with how I downloaded the mod, either way, knowing where it's supposed to be would be a great help.

It's underwater in a network of caverns called The Cavities. Those are some big caverns.

Ah, thanks. I had been through that area but must've missed it.

Edit: also hugely impressed by the fast reply, kudos.

I've spent a couple of hours swimming through The Cavities with tlb enabled. I found an ungodly amount of Aylied Coffers, some skeletons surrounded by jewels, a skeleton surrounded by rare wine, a whole other stash of Surilie's wine, a shrine to nocturnal, of course, the sunken ship and the skeletons and chests around it, I've already done the god item and The Forgotten One but still can't manage to find the book.

I'm really sorry to keep bothering, but could I get a precise location before I go completely insane

Sure is a lot to find down there. The book is in a dead-end chamber, the most northern part of The Cavities you can find. Not far from the tunnel entrance near the sunken ship.

Thank you so much! I hadn't spotted it since it had floated to the ceiling, which I hadn't searched thoroughly enough. Thank you for your patience, I absolutely adore the mod and the unmarked quest aspects of it.
      Thanks again

The mod author is of course Prettyfly, not myself, I am merely a member of the UL Council which maintains the ULs.

I believe there was a conflict with Tamrielic Lore
I took a screenshot, but there is no technical information on it.

It really helps if you tell me what cell you are in when providing a screenshot. I have figured out the location, and yes Tamrielic Lore does conflict with Cliffs of Anvil, so I have added it to my list of known conflicts. You can reduce the conflict by moving Tamrielic Lore to load before Cliffs of Anvil, this will resolve the land tears, however you will still have floating objects until a patch is created.

Be sure to use TES4Edit to clean the ESP from Tamrielic Lore, it contains a lot of Oblivion.esm records which are identical to master, and so can cause conflicts needlessly.

I cleaned up the plugin and I changed the load order and it was much better.
      Cell : Parent Cell : Nature(0000ACCF) -40, -14
Worldspace : Tamriel of course !

    EDIT:

Never mind. It would help if I could read.

@ WalkerInShadows: I'm surprised you haven't noticed this before, but... the patch for OOO has been available since the day Cliffs of Anvil was first released. Downloadable from the same place all UL compatibility patches are kept.

I'm surprised no one's noticed this before, but... OOO adds an Ayleid ruin named Dostares in the same area - this mod buries almost it completely (including the entrance). A patch is *possible*, but it would take a bit of work, and might not be worth it, IMO. At the least, it would be good to note in the readme.

I don't think I did anything to make them respawn quicker. There are a LOT of them though. Its actually quite a pity I couldn't get anything like that to work out in The Eastern Peaks, because I do like watching those NPC's hunt. Although it was much funnier earlier on in development when the bunnies and crabs were aggressive and ganged up on and murdered their respective hunters.

Funnily enough after playing Skyrim for a bit I find myself coming back to Oblivion out of nolstagia. I'll probably go back once they release the construction kit for Skyrim but for now I'm loving the UL mods of oblivion. They never fail to amaze me and this one is no different. Out of curiosity did you set the mudcrabs and rabbits to respawn very quickly. I find 2 of the villagers on a constant mission to kill these critters it's rather amusing to watch.

    Anyway, you have my endorsement.

Totally enjoyed checking out the cliffs of Anvil. Took me a bit to figure out there was a mystery here. Really fun following the bread crumbs. I could not endorse because I downloaded the compilation instead, but kudos to your work here!
