SpellStrip 1.0 by Kokomal
In a "quest" for better FPS i made this mod that "strips" magic spells of their shaders, lights and enchantments, because i could not find a mod that does this. But, although the graphic of the spells is not "fancy", in areas with more than 15 NPC's, using Adrenaline Oblivion and my mod (in the quest "Defending Bruma) I got 5 to 10 fps increase. I would trade those spell effects for more fps any day. Would you?
IMPORTANT!
1. This mod is mostly made for people with slower machines like me. Those with 7800 graphic cards and beasty CPU's do not need this mod.
2. Backup your save games before installing just any mod.
3. THis mod IS NOT compatible with No-glo by Grumblepunk and *No* persistant enchantment glow fix by kweeky. However, the inspiration and the credit goes to these two people, for inspiring me to start modding - THANK YOU!!!
Install!
Copy spellstrip 1.0.esp to Oblivion\data dir, open the launcher and "check" the spellstrip.esp in "data files".
Uninstall!
Uncheck spellstrip.esp and delete the file from your "Data" Dir.
Once again! Always backup your save games before "testing" or installing new mods!
Known issues/bugs!
I spent all day testing and could not find any. However, i play a Warrior type of a
character and i will await feedback from more Wizardy types of players.
If you have some issues PM me on the official oblivion forums - kokomal.
Future releases!
I will try as hard as i can to remove the pink wrap that happens when your char
gets hit by any magic damage. That only happens when you have some reflect/resist magic
armor/rings/amulets equiped. If someone can help me with this, please PM me or mail me on
[email protected]

Sledejki go kvestot za podobruvanje na brojot na frejmovite vo Oblivion, go kreirav ovoj mod sto gi "ripuva" shejderite i svetlata od site magii i debufovi vo igrata. Ne mozev da najdam slicen mod pa zatoa sednav i go napraviv sam. Po instalacija na mojot mod, grafikata na magiite ke bide pomalku "eye candy" no zatoa vo "gusti" situacii, vo borba so poveke od 15 neprijateli uspeav da dobijam boost od 5 do 10 frejma. Sekogash glasam za potecno igranje, otkolku za podobra grafika, a vie?
VAZNO!
1. Ovoj mod e napraven za luge koi sto imaat poslabi mashini. Tie shto imaat Geforce 7800/7600 i jaki procesori+2gb ram ne treba da go instaliraat mojot mod.
2. Sekogash pravete backup na vashite sejvovi!
3. Ovoj mod ne e kompatibilen so No-Glo i *No* persistant enchantment glow fix, iako inspiracijata za pravenje na istiot dojde od ovie dva moda.
Instalacija!
Kopiraj spellstrip 1.0.esp vo Oblivion\data dir, otvori go launcherot i "shtikliraj" spellstrip.esp vo "data files".
Odinstalacija!
"Odshtikliraj" spellstrip 1.0.esp. Ushte ednash - sekogash pravi backup na svoite sejvovi.
Bagovi - napomeni!
Testirav dolgo vreme i se raboti kako sto treba. Isto taka, dobiv i pozitivni kritiki od lugeto na oficijalniot Oblivion forum.
Za vo idnina!
Ke dadam se od sebe da go "trgnam" rozeviot glup efekt sto se pojavuva koga nekoj ke ve napadne so magija. Toa se slucuva samo koga nosite nekoja resistant ili reflect oprema.
