Well, a healing spell is not really quite the same. Let's say you are playing a mage with healing as one of his major skills. You kill a troll in a random cave system somewhere and you are down to 1/3 magicka. You can't wait, because there is someone 300 yards away in the next cavern. Yes, you can cast a healing spell, but then you'll be waiting until your magicka regenerates before you move on. But what if the same thing happens and you are playing a warrior? You need to either burn an expensive healing potion or leave the long cave system in order to get your health back.

But, letting people fast travel while not in combat is a good idea. That will require a considerable bit of work, but I guess I can dust off the CS and add that.

Wow. I didn't realize that it did not work from the inventory, thank YOU for the bug report.

    Edit: Darn. Double Post.

Yes! I found the mistake... I always tried to use the bandages in the Inventory. That didn't work.
I had to use them over a Quickslot/hotkey. So it works properly in the end! Sorry for my stupidity, but I didn't know how to use it. You should write it in the readme...
Thanx for your patience and help!

OK, I'm glad you are at least marginally satisfied despite this strange bug, but I still recommend starting on a new save and testing it there just to see if that works.

I used the bandages in town, where no enemies are. But it still doesn't work...
I think i'll use your first version of bandages. It's working for increasing health properly. That's enough for me!
Thx for your help (and of course for this mod!)

I'm kind of stumped now. The only three possibilities I can think of are:

    1. You are in combat when you use the bandages. These bandages are not in the god items area because the only work when you are not in combat. If you want to test whether this is the problem, SAVE, then use the killall console command, the see if they work. If they do, then this is your problem.
    2. You have some sort of scripted anti-magic effect occurring.
    3. You used some sort of dispelling effect.

If none of this works, try testing another save file, and try testing a new game. Also, if you could post a list of the major mods you have installed, that would be helpful.

Oh no... the new file doesn't work at all! Sorry!
The old one worked at least for health restoring...
    please help me.
You wrote: "I assume that the bandages appeared in your inventory when you loaded a save file?"

    Yes it did!

I assume that the bandages appeared in your inventory when you loaded a save file?

Here is what is SUPPOSED to happen:

    1. You activate the bandages, via the inventory or a hotkey.
    2. The player is forced to cast a spell that restores 9999999 health/fatigue/magicka. It's a very simple script.

    Why this might not work:

    1. The player.cast DDrestorespell line didn't work. That would mean that something very strange is going on that has ripped the fabric of the universe asunder.
    2. You have a cartload of spell resistance, or you are silenced. Dunno about this one.

Regardless, try downloading version 1.1 which I just uploaded, it might fix your problem.
