    The console in-game says that there is an error in script df000ed3, not sure if that would prevent the mod from working correctly. In the meantime though I'm going to uninstall this, since I'm not sure if its working properly.

    you know what would be cool? if there was some way of NPCs getting sick, and we treat them as doctors. maybe add a bubonic plague doctor clothes as well, since they're awesome and fit well with oblivion.

    It treats poryphiric hemophilia like any other disease -- if you have symptoms when you go to bed, you'll become a vampire, and it's possible for the symptoms to return even after "curing" it. So now, if you're infected by a vampire, you have to be very careful about checking for symptoms before going to bed, possibly for several days!

    thanks for the information! As I am notoriously afraid of vampires, I just had to ask about that. But your mod sounds so thrilling that I have to fight my fears and give it a try! My only concern now is not to turn into a hypochondriac, carrying around an apothecary with me!

    I won't forget to endorse it soon, because the first disease I'll encounter will surely remind me of it!

    When you get to the point where you will start working on that might you make it so everything can be turned on/off in a ini or some such. I, for one, are using quite allot of mods that affect combat in one way or an other, they work fine together because they don't affect the same things; or I have tuned out, turned off conflicting stuff.

    It is great that this mod is, as you say, minimalistic; becuase usually that is what people want or it is what works best. It is also easier incorporating into a heavily modded game. So there is always room for these kind of mods.

    I can't compete with Vector -- it is clearly a masterwork, while this is a one-off tweak mod. But I haven't played with Vector, since I'm in a sort of minimalist mod phase where I avoid installing mods that tweak so many things to fix one subsystem.

    It's a nice thought, but just one quest like that would require much more work than this entire mod.

    Vanilla Oblivion already has a significant "cure my disease" quest (for Vampirism) -- I'm not sure it needs a lot more. But hey, if you have a great idea for another quest like that, you should put it together.

    This sounds promising: Well done, with a good description, and obviously some very good elements of immersiveness!

    Only two questions, before giving it a try:
    - What effect does this mod have on Vampirism?
    - (just an idea): Wouldn't it be interesting to gain some "immunity" to diseases that you have already defeated once?

    This sounds awesome, but every game I made a simple mod for myself that makes it so I have 500000% resistance to diesese lol. If I ever want to have dieseses again I'll definitely keep this one in mind
