If the weird elf does not sell the gloves, TCL (noclip) under the floor and use the unlock console command to unlock the chest underneath him. It has all the gloves inside.
This mod causes a serious problem if you have the Frostcrag Spire DLC installed: there is a well-known bug caused by pre-FCS mods (including some official ones) messing with door and cell ownerships inside Mystic Emporium when they are loaded after FCS that lead to the shop being permanently closed (because Calindil and Aulinewae--the co-owners of the shop with the FCS are permanently locked in their quarters due to not owning the door.) If this mod is loaded after FCS, this bug reappears, since the ME cell is reverted back to the original state. It is probably a good idea to, test out some alternate load orders, avoid using this mod if you have FCS, or, if you feel confident about your modding skills, make the necessary changes.
I don't understand why it's not working. I have the mod checked, the folders are in their place, but Calindil doesn't sell them. The chest is there, though, I had to unlock it with console commands and steal the gloves.
these gloves are pretty sweet looking. Do they hide rings or do rings show up over them?
Would also like to see leather ones with slightly longer cuffs :). Or perhaps even just retextures of vanilla leather armor gauntlets as separate clothing items
Mod is last in my load order and checked. Folder is in my data folder, including textures and meshes. Calindil sells the gloves. But the meshes don't show up in game and they make character's hands invisible. I'm assuming others don't have this problem. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
If you're using the Frostcrag DLC, get the Unofficial Patch for it (available here on Nexus). In your load order, make sure Frostcrag appears before the patch, and the patch appears before Jov's Gloves plugin.
Had to play around with it a bit, but with this load order the gloves appear in Calindil's items for sale.

Had to play around with load orders a bit to get Calindil to sell the things, but got there in the end.
Endorsed!
