About this mod

Are you always finding scary creatures in the lobby of the Tiber Septim Hotel? This mod merely extends that theme. So that must mean that this mod is lore friendly!

1. INFORMATION ON THE MOD
****************************************
I don't know how it is with you, but I am always finding all sorts of scary
enemies in the Tiber Septim Hotel Lobby. If I don't kill all the enemies when I am in
the field, or if the game glitches, then all manner of beasties and bad men end up
there. (It is the default dumping ground for lost actors. If you disable a mod while
in a custom cell, you become a lost actor and end up there yourself.)

So yesterday as I was watching the madness in the lobby, the thought occurred to
me that I should carry trends to their logical (and absurd) conclusion. Bethesda wanted
the lobby to be this way, so if I made it just a bit more extreme, my mod would still be
lore-friendly.

2. Installation

Extract (decompress) the .esp file to your oblivion directory, the default is:
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\
In your mod manager, mark the box next to the "Scary Tiber Septim Hotel Lobby" plug-in.

Alternately, extract someplace else. Then move the .esp to Oblivion\Data\.
Often you can simply drop the "Data" file into the "Oblivion" folder. Make sure the file
goes into the proper directory it was in when you downloaded the mod.

4. Conflicts, Known Issues, and Troubleshooting
****************************************
This mod will conflict with mods that edit the Tiber Septim Hotel Lobby.

This mod will make the luxury hotel into the type of place you probably wouldn't
want to stay at. (But then again, I don't know what kind of character you are playing.)

Only the hotel lobby has changed decor and inhabitants. The rest of the hotel is
not changed and should not be changed. In vanilla Oblivion, the enemies are only found in
the lobby. So this mod would not be lore-friendly if I changed any part of the hotel other
than the lobby.

NPCs in the lobby or in Talos Plaza could be severely injured by some of the
respawning things lurking in the lobby. Augusta Calidia, the desk clerk, is safe because
she has become adept at getting along with all sorts of hotel guests. She even serves new
kinds of food calculated to please the palates of visitors from exotic places.

This is a disposable comedy mod. I am doubtful that it will permanently remain
in anybody's load order.

IF ANYONE DETECTS A MAJOR BUG WHICH MAKES THE
MOD UNPLAYABLE, PLEASE SEND ME A PERSONAL MESSAGE ON
TES NEXUS RIGHT AWAY. I WILL HOPEFULLY BE ABLE TO FIX IT
AND RELEASE AN IMPROVED VERSION OF THIS MOD.
