Elder Scrolls IV Mod

Introduction
============

"The Staff of Magnus, one of the elder artifacts of Tamriel, was a metaphysical battery of sorts for its creator, Magnus. When used, it absorbs an enemy's health and mystical energy. In time, the Staff will abandon the mage who wields it before he becomes too powerful and upsets the mystical balance it is sworn to protect." - Tamrielic Lore

"The god of sorcery, Magnus withdrew from the creation of the world at the last second, though it cost him dearly. What is left of him on the world is felt and controlled by mortals as magic. One story says that, while the idea was thought up by Lorkhan, it was Magnus who created the schematics and diagrams needed to construct the mortal plane. He is sometimes represented by an astrolabe, a telescope, or, more commonly, a staff. Cyrodiilic legends say he can inhabit the bodies of powerful magicians and lend them his power."

This was the case of once a powerful Mage - the Grandmaster of the Order of Healers - that possessed the Staff of Magnus. "But the hearts of men are easily corupted" and he forgot the priciples of magick and became involved with the dark arts... and the Magick turned against him. Magnus cursed him, to become a lich and to protect the items that once were in his possession... He was closed in the ancient ruin of Ceyatatar that once was dedicated to Magnus as it is described in the book "Glories and Laments".
The Grandmaster was also the bearer of The Holy Blade, a powerful and beautiful sword whose history was lost, but most likely it has divine origin. If it is to be found most certain it will be along with the other items that once belonged to him...

Healers are gifted and powerful spellcasters who draw power from The Divines and from Faith.
They use their powers to heal the wounded and bolster the spirits of those around them.
They are Holy Mages, Keepers of The Light and of ancient wisdom. The Order of Healers is a secret order of magi. In the eyes of the uninitiated they may pass only as healers, but they are more than that...

With great power comes great responsability!

Description
===========

This mod adds to the game a set of clothes, a staff and a sword that will allow the player to roleplay as a Healer.
The set consists of shoes, robe, hood, cape, amulet, staff and a sword, all enchanted.
The amulet grants to the player 4 Lesser Powers: Holy Aura, Incapacitate, Divine Fire and Absorb Life.
The sword is scripted and adds to the player a lesser power that allows to switch between one hand and two hand versions.
The items are located in Ceyatatar. You will know when you have found them, but the former owner might not be so happy...
This set is intended for high level characters!

Version 2.0
===========

Added the sword and made some tweaks: changed some icons, arranged the place where you find the items, added a new shield enchantment to the amulet that acts as a holy aura. The sword does with 50% more damage in the 2h variant than in the 1h variant. You will not need to recharge the sword or the staff.
