About this mod

This addon fixes the extremely limited amount of uses on enchanted weapons (including staves). By default the cost of enchantments is halved, resulting in doubling the amount of charges on weapons. This can be changed by either editing the ini file, or in-game through LINK's configuration menu (if installed).

Description

This addon fixes the extremely limited amount of uses on enchanted weapons (including staves). By default the cost of enchantments is halved, resulting in doubling the amount of charges on weapons. This can be changed by either editing the ini file, or in-game through LINK's configuration menu (if installed).

Custom weapon enchantments are supported as long as this mod was active when the custom enchantment was created.

Next to Oblivion and all its DLCs, the following mods are automatically supported:

Compatibility and requirements

This mod requires OBSE (version 21 or higher) to function properly. LINK is recommended to easily configure this mod through LINK's configuration menu.

Install

  • Extract the files to a temporary location
  • Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
  • Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file
  • Optionally edit the .ini file to customize it to your preferences

Uninstall

  • Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file
  • Delete the More Effective Enchantments files in the Data folder
