Due to recent reports, a friendly reminder, the file uploaded here is an .OMOD, not a .ZIP. If it appears as a .ZIP after downloading, then your browser/OS falsified the file extension, a common habit of certain recent ones.
If you only see things like "config" and "data" without any actual files when you open a ZIP, it never was a ZIP to begin with and shouldn't have been directly opened like one. This is what you see when opening an OMOD as if it "was" a ZIP, that is the file extension somehow got changed to ZIP.
Usually just changing it back to .OMOD will fix it already though.
Thank a lot for your great textures an important part of them have been selected and included in AAOVTR Almost All Oblivion Vanilla Textures Replacer http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/43788//? I have endorse this mod
Thanks Mtgr23. I presently have your full texture pack installed. Very nice. I think I will add these upgrades once I fix an (unrelated) problem with my game.
Thanks PseronWyrd. Trees and plants are part of the mtgr texture pack. I made tapestries and rugs using the textures from the texture pack as an base and added some effects. Tapestries and rugs is an updated version of the files from the texture pack. I plan on making an updated version of the texture pack. But until then i will update files and try to find out what effects work best for oblivion textures.
These (this and your tapestry mod) are subsets of your "Mtgr texture pack" from the forum, right? (Which in it's ver 1.1 OMOD is small enough to be uploaded here.)
Overall, I'd say these new textures look very nice. They do brighten up these scenes considerably. I think the "After" screen in each instance looks nicer then the "Before" screen.
In my opinion, the only exception is the bush textures in your "After 1" screenshot. To me, the pinks and reds, together, look distractingly bright. I do like the red trees in the background though.
Anyway, I will download this and give it a try later and post back here with my impressions after I've seen them in-game for awhile. Thank you.

Performance hit if any should be small.
